Hotel Pessets Restaurant & Spa

This is a wonderful hotel. What makes it so special is the family who have owned it for four generations and for whom nothing is too much trouble. The staff are superb and the hotel has an excellent restaurant. It also has historic associations with World War 2 refugees which make it particularly interesting.

Wonderful. I needed a room as it was raining, I expected Hotel Pessets to be ridiculously expensive, but it wasn't. The lovely ladies on reception spoke English, which was a relief although by now my rudimentary Spanish was beginning to improve. My room was spacious, water was hot, not a bad view from my window & breakfast, well, what to say? Stunning! I find it difficult to believe I wasn't asked to pay extra, but it was included. Free parking was an added bonus. All in a fantastic find, thank-you.

Wonderful large hotel in the best location. A few minutes walking distance from restaurants, bars, supermarket and rafting companies. The hotel itself was wonderful with comfortable beds, great vegetarian and vegan breakfast and above all 5 stars service. Any question or request we had was answered with a smile. Lovely hotel - ideally located in Sort for a week of activities in the Pyrenees. Family Suite was big enough for four (2 teenagers). Room was kept impeccably clean daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke English to help us with our limited Spanish! The pool was perfect for an afternoon of relaxing after a morning of high adrenaline activity! (We used La Rafting Co for all our activities - rafting, canyoning, hiking, kayaking, via Ferrata etc). The restaurants serve great food, formal in the hotel and tapas in the garden! Breakfast was excellent too. Must also get tapas at cafe pessets in town (owned by the same family). We would definitely come again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We chose this space for the Spa but we were really happy with the quality of the rooms and place for the price. You have to pay extra (14 euros) for one hour at the spa but it's worth it and the Spa is great with a wet and dry sauna and different kinds of showers etc...they also have a relaxing pool and beautiful garden

We stayed with our family two children aged nine and 10 and they love this place. The room was a little small but the facilities were great the breakfast was amazing and the swimming pool was a gem. The village of sort is a lovely place to get away from it all and we met only two English families all week. There are lots of Adventure activities. Although the hotel has no parking there is lots of parking free nearby. The hotel is very well located and very quiet. It would’ve been nice to have a balcony so make sure you ask before you book.

We stayed at Hotel Pessets for nearly a week, we had a double room with balcony overlooking the pool and a standard twin room. The hotel is located centrally close to all the amenities within the town with lovely views out to the mountains. Our room with a balcony was on the third floor, and was lovely, ice cold a/c, view over the pool, shower over a full sized bath. We could hear everything very clearly from the room above us which was kept us awake at various points but otherwise we were happy with the room. The standard twin room which our children had was less impressive, the decor was very tired, half sized bath and shower but ok. I would recommend paying the extra for a better room. ||The breakfast was a lovely buffet, hot and cold with a large selection of cakes too! The pool was great, we did use the gym but found much of the equipment broken and no a/c so a bit hot. ||The staff were lovely and helped us enjoy our stay. Many thanks. Best hotel in Sort.
