Hotel Pestalozzi

The hotel's location is perfect: it's close to the lake, the Lido (a public swimming pool and lake access) and the old town. We escaped the rain and booked a three-night stay in Lugano as a family of four. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Don't miss breakfast! The perfectly selected buffet gave us a great start to the day! We would highly recommend the hotel and will return soon. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed here for three nights. It exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is an elevator. Breakfast is an excellent price with lots of choices. There is a laundry service for guests that's a decent price and easy to use. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day with people fluent in multiple languages. The location is perfect - a short walk to Parco Ciani, public transportation, and shops.

Very nice hotel with the central location in Lugano. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Nothing disturbing,only admiring! Staff is polite and helpful! Rooms are clean and very comfortable like at home. Lake view from balcony is stunning! The breakfast and restaurants service really worth the great remark! Very recommended! My stay at the Hotel Pestalozzi was, as always, great. The room was very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel Pestalozzi is perfectly located near the lake, the city center, and public transportation, and offers a rich breakfast. Mille grazie e tanti saluti.

beautiful hotel, affordable, close to everything, amazing and respectful staff, very clean and calm place. one of the staff (i don't remember her name) helped us planning our very short stay and without her suggestions we wouldn't know how to enjoy different places in only 2 days. thanks a lot. very recommended!!

Very hospitable. Great service and excellent breakfast. The room was small and plain, but it had a nice view of the rooftops of Lugano. Clean, efficient and friendly hotel.

It's a perfect city Hotel. Very close to the conference center, the parco Ciani and the city center. It's a 5min walk to the funicular, which takes you to the main station. There is a bus stop right outside the Hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bathroom was modern. It's also a historic building. I will definitely stay here again with my family.

Good basic hotel, but not the cleanest. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic. Everything else largely fine except the room was not very clean - when I arrived there were hairs in the sink, in the bedding etc.
