Hotel-Petit am Wannsee

I ordered 3 dishes to go yesterday all with chicken. One was Pad Thai and the other two Mango and Yellow Curry. At home we noticed that the curries were swimming in fat. The chicken in the Pad Thai was bad and non consumable. The chicken in the curries also turned out to be bad. We are currently all dealing with the aftermath. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW A COOK CAN USE BAD CHICKEN TO PREPAE A DISH TO BE SERVED. Thi place used to be good.

The Petite Wannsee exceeded all my expectations. We booked it for a ten day stay because a close relative is in the hospice across the street. The staff could not have been more helpful. Check in is in the attached very popular Vietnamese and sushi restaurant, where we had several outstanding meals. When we asked where we could purchase an EU compatible phone charger, they loaned us one; when we walked out on a rainy day, they ran after us to offer an umbrella; when we asked where in the neighborhood we could find a good breakfast for the following morning, they opened the back courtyard and made us one (requiring only a days advanced notice). The rooms are excellent standard rooms and are spacious and spotless, with nice modern appointments. (Bring your own soap and shampoo.) The included wifi is fast. The neighborhood is great. Street parking is easy, at least when we were there. I would imagine it gets more difficult when the vacation season is at peak. All in all, I find the place very special, particularly for its personal touch.

We booked rooms for ourselves and our son and his partner. The hotel accommodated all our requests graciously. We found using a 3rd party booking service confusing but the hotel cleared up any problem. Commmunication was clear and prompt. They made sure our family had rooms close together. The rooms were immaculate. The hotel is directly across the street from the health care facility we needed to visit. It was a pleasant 9 min walk to the train station past the lake and the park. We enjoyed many meals at the adjoining Vietnamese and sushi restaurant during our stay.We loved the food and the service. We hope to stay here again!

well, the hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable, with a nice breakfast room (and garden), but really what takes the prize is the attached fabulous restaurant: I love this restaurant - the surroundings are great, both indoors and out (lovely garden), the food is delicious, (good) service with a smile, and they even make fab cocktails.

We rented several rooms here as part of a group trip of families. The folks that run the hotel are A+ on service. They are very hard working and accommodating. For example, because of their limited English and our nonexistent German, they had a friend who spoke English at the hotel for dinner each night (whether they knew if we were eating there or not) to help us understand the menu and to improve our overall experience. The rooms are basic but very sufficient. There is a room that is also (mostly) wheelchair accessible.

Stayed here for a local family wedding. Rooms were basic, but clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Even though we had a very early check out (6.30am) a huge, varied and tasty breakfast was arranged and served with a smile.

Good hotel with clean rooms. Very kind people, especially the lady that takes care of the breakfast. The breakfast is excellent. |Bus stops are just some steps away. Easy to take the train or s-Bahn to the city.

Nice old style gasthouse. What I mean is there are Rooms up above the eating area and back behind. It all had a very homey appeal. Just watch out for those hidden steps. The breakfasts are quite extraordinary.
