Hotel Petit Dahu

The hotel only has 7 rooms and thus is this a small hotel. The rooms are basically equipped with relative small beds and small bathrooms. The cleanliness of the rooms is perfect.||The breakfast is very luxurious with lots of selfmade pastries and cakes. Further more than enough choices in very tasteful local cheeses and breads.||The dinner in the evening is a very tasteful four course meal made from local ingredients. The wine list has extensive choices which are moderately priced.||The service in the hotel and restaurant is warm, friendly and cozy.

Incredibly nicely located and quaint hotel in the end of the valley of the national park Gran Paradiso. The rooms are small but very cozy as well as clean. The half-board includes a rich breakfast and a multi-course menu with star quality in the evening. To be highlighted are: the kitchen, a good Wifi signal in the whole house and the relaxed atmosphere. Good starting point for hikes in all difficulty levels.

Small but lovely hotel close to the best hikes in the Park. The hotel is fairly clean and the staff is friendly. The real highlight is the cuisine, absolutly excellent. More , the choice of the wines is extensive and very competent. Obiouvsly, at breakfast, bread and jam homemade and plenty of local products.

A very cozy place for a quiet sport holiday. The owner is a good cook. Food is great 👍 and we are well taken care of. Will come back soon!

This cosy hotel offers absolute tranquility. Its position right in the middel of Gran Paradiso is a perfect starting point for magnificient hikes. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The food is great.

Valnontey, 3 km from Cogne, is an excellent base for exploring the national park. My wife and I spent a week in the area, staying at the Petit Dahu. I can recommend it strongly. The staff are helpful and the food is excellent. Half board is a real bargain.

friendly owners and clean rooms with very good kitchen. I can recommend staying here when visiting the gran paradiso national park. Some itineraries start right in front of this hotel. The owners produce honey in the nearby meadows.

Stayed here for couple of nights while hiking the valley with friends. Cozy rooms, excellent locally sourced food and wine and not too pricey. Valnontey and surrounding area is a hikers' paradise. Recommended.
