Stayed here for our time in Nice during our honeymoon. Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful and had a great view, breakfast was ample and catered to many national preferences. Me and my husband LOVED renting the e-bikes, an amazing perk to be able to bike along the coast with e-assist. They did some laundry for us in a very reasonably priced and timely manner. All of the staff were FABULOUS, Phillipe in particular was very caring with us when explaining the ins and outs of biking in Nice. The hotel has great views of Nice because it is atop some hills, just beware of that if you’re traveling with the elderly.

A Perfect Stay at Hotel Petit Palais, Nice We had the pleasure of staying one night at Hotel Petit Palais in Nice, and everything about our experience was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kind and helpful Philippe, whose friendliness immediately made us feel long awaited and at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and our room offered a breathtaking view that made our short stay feel incredibly special. The location is ideal—quiet, elegant, and just a short walk away from the heart of Nice. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. It wasn’t just good—it was beyond exceptional. Every interaction felt genuine, and their attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. Breakfast in the morning was a delightful highlight, especially the apricot cake, which was simply delicious and the perfect start to our day. We can’t recommend Hotel Petit Palais enough and would gladly return for a longer stay. A true gem in Nice!

This is a small, friendly and beautiful hotel. Feels like you are staying in a French villa. It’s quiet yet not too far to walk into Nice. Great having small pool to relax next to at end of the day. Knowledgeable staff. Really helpful in recommending restaurants and where to visit. Beautiful rooms and high standards.

The Hotel Petit Palais rates amongst the top boutique hotel stays I have had. I just returned from taking my daughter on her first trip abroad - we were fortunate to celebrate her graduation and her next journey to college by spending time in Paris and Nice. Upon arrival we were greeted by the splendidly charming Philippe who welcomed us to his city and this lovely hotel. His charm and warmth made our visit unforgettable. This boutique hotel is situated in lovely neighborhood overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Each touch point was a 10 out of 10, from the comfort of the room, to the special touches of lavender pillow spray, comfort of the beds, the delightful towel warmers. The breakfast was also excellent, and we loved the garden and small pool area. Best of all was the kindness of Philippe. If you are fortunate enough to visit this lovely city, you must not miss the experience of staying at the Hotel Petit Palais. Thank you Philippe for making this trip special for my daughter and I. Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are excellent especially Philippe, Kevin and Daniel - we were welcomed and very much looked after. Room was beautiful and had everything we needed including a coffee machine and gorgeous terrace. Loved the pool area for great for a couple of hours relaxing. Hotel in a very quiet area but yes its a up a slight hill but that was not a problem for us. Already planning our next visit.

Absolutely loved staying here for my first trip to Nice. The neighborhood is gorgeous, we had a beautiful view from our room, and honestly the beds are maybe the most comfortable I've ever found in a hotel -- that plus the blackout shades made for some serious post-jet-lag recovery. Phillipe was a delight. Would happily return!

My second visit to this lovely spot. Beautiful location, lovely rooms great breakfast and professional staff!|I love the tiny pool surrounded by roses, orange blossoms and the azure Mediterranean sky. |My one suggestion would be to give some love to the garden-deadhead the flowers etc.|Great staff at the desk-Philippe and Kevin gave some wonderful restaurant suggestions. Go to Puro-best and freshest Italian food ever. Don't let the fake Italian restaurant across the street try to lure you in. They're fraudsters.|We will be back. A la prochaine.

The hotel and staff was magnificent. They were more than accommodating to our special needs. The room was beautiful and the staff was friendly, gracious, kind and supportive. This hotel is centrally located and in walking distance to several amenities. Since the streets are hilly it is great for people interested in walking and hiking around the city.

Yelp
We stayed at le Petit Palais during our recent visit to Nice. Le Petit Palais is located on a steep hill. If you are planning to stay here, I'd highly recommend taking a taxi from the airport (~35 euro) or packing light. The hike up the hill with luggage can be a challenge, even if you're in decent shape. Service at the hotel is 4.5 stars. Phillippe is awesome and has great recommendations for dinner. He's friendly and welcoming. I would give him 5 stars. I would've rated the hotel higher, but it is a bit of a trek to the touristy spots. In addition, the walls are thin, so you can hear everything that goes on in the room next door. Our neighbors were definitely having a lot of "fun" on our last night. Even though I knocked on their wall several times, I wasn't able to stop their late night fun. We thought our room included the breakfast buffet, unfortunately it didn't and we had a 16 euro/pp/day charge. It wasn't that we minded the charge, but the food was definitely not worth the 16 euro/day. There weren't that many choices at breakfast. The hotel provides free wifi access, although it is spotty. It is also limited to two sign-ons per room. If you have a lot of wifi devices, you'll find yourself trying to figure out which device you want to connect to the wifi. There are some other creative ways you can get online, but I'm sure other yelp reviewers are smart enough to figure it out. :) If I visited Nice again, I would probably pay the extra $ and stay at the Hotel Negresco. I do recommend this hotel if you have a rental car. Nice is car friendly and this particular hotel is located in a residential area, so there is plenty of free street parking.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel overlooking Nice! Everything about this hotel is fresh, newly decorated and gorgeous. Comfortable beds and pillows, well-furnished bedrooms, sparkling clean and roomy bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff (who will explain where to go and what to do)...you get the picture! About one previous review: YES this hotel is located on a hill: the plentiful photos online clearly describe that fact...and the results are outstanding - quiet neighborhood, beautiful view, and fresh air! About another previous review: YES the breakfast is 16 Euros each but (traveling around the world) the buffet here is top-tier and delicious: hot eggs, bacon, sausage, plentiful fruit and baked goods, coffee and tea, juice and milk, yogurt, salmon and prosciutto...again, you get the picture! You are in France so definitely have breakfast other places on other days but for sure check out breakfast at the hotel itself! Everything is relative - for the cost (large bedroom with garden view for about 130 Euros) and the gorgeous/comfy/calm surroundings, I would give this hotel 8 stars if it was possible!

Yelp
Highly recommend this gorgeous place. Set on a (steep) hill in old Nice the rooms are spacious and we overlooked the ocean (albeit some distance away). The garden with breakfast (we didn't have it here as there was a stunning boulangerie (open every day) very close to the base of the hill where the hotel is perched upon) is beautiful, spacious and a little pool for the adventurous. The rooms are cute french, wall paper, mirrors but spacious and light. I wouldn't want for anything else in a hotel room. The front of house at the hotel was especially helpful. He has a great knowledge of restaurants and is very honest about the quality of food. His recommendations were excellent and we enjoyed chatting to him each morning about our plans. Very friendly, easy going and helpful. We would stay here again any day!
