Our room was clean and comfortable with a great shower and enough space to fit both our suitcases after a minor furniture shuffle. The staff were consistently efficient and friendly, and the location was convenient, with several convenience stores just a short walk away. We often grabbed late-night snacks before returning to the hotel. Overall, a solid stay that complemented our trip.||Here's a short story to tell about one of the hotel staff we met during our stay. On the night before leaving Korea, we realised we still hadn’t tried Korean fried chicken and wanted to order delivery. However the local apps were all in Korean so we we did not know how. We turned to the hotel reception for help and Tony did not hesitate at all with trying to help us make the order. He even thoughtfully suggested several options, including sweet corn. Thanks to Tony’s assistance, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal in our room and had a truly enjoyable final evening.

Hotel is at the Exit 2 of Yangjae Station but as I came by metro from another hotel and have a big luggage, I took the lift at Exit 1. Upon exiting exit 1, turn to your right and you will see Exit 2 and keep walking (there is a small manageable slope), the hotel is the left. At Yangjae Station, there’s another way to the Shinbundang Line and you will find eateries, bakery, Mega Coffee, Olive Young etc. Do note that this Shinbundang Line charges more than the usual subway (according to Naver map) and have express train that skips stops. Kkanbu Chicken is near Exit 2 and the fried chicken is really nice. Next to the hotel you can find Ssada Gimbab which serve very good local food. There is also a Emart next to it and Paris Baguette is nearby too. Cleanliness was ok on the first day but on the second night when I was about to sleep, I saw that the changed bedsheet was torn. I am really surprised that the housekeeping staff did not see such a big hole (not 1 but 2) when they are doing the change. Feedback to the reception the next morning as I don’t want them to mistook me for damaging it. The reception apologise and ask the housekeeping to do a change since I am going out. Upon my return, I was even shocked. There are 2 brownish red dots on the bedsheet….not sure what are those but as I was really tired and was checking out the next day, I did not bother to inform the reception. PROS:Very near to Yangjae StationAirport Limo 6009 is just at doorstep. Takes about 1-1.5 hour to reach T1Luggage weighing machine in the lobby for guest to useCONS:Pillow is super bad quality. Flatten with 2 seconds…shoulder ache after sleeping for 2 nights Cleanliness is not up to standardWater dripping sound in the shower ceiling (room 1703)

This is def not a 4 stars hotel. I mean a decent 3 stars and it’s neat, clean and tidy. Just that the room too small and doesn’t look like the picture. Also have problem with plumbing where no water half way showering! 😖 Location is good, but not something I would come back. Maybe it’s Suitable for solo or couple traveller who want something simple and a bed to rest. Do not expect much from this hotel. No way near any picture show on any accomodation booking platform.

Great for business or a quick trip if you are mainly in the Gangnam area. Bit far away from the other districts and the center of Gangnam itself. Comfy room, good amenities. Launderette service was a bit too expensive for the standard and the bathroom had a bit of a funky smell constantly. Nothing major

Visited Hotel Peyto in September 2024 This was my wife and I’s first trip to South Korea, we were both very excited. But things didn’t start as planned: our luggage broke, we missed the AREX, ended up taking a ₩90,000 taxi ride, and got lost in the rain looking for our Airbnb. When we finally arrived, the place looked nothing like the photos. It had a shared bathroom and just didn’t feel right. It was a rough start. Determined to salvage our trip, I looked for a proper hotel near the city center and luckily found Hotel Peyto. The next morning, we checked out of the Airbnb and went straight to the hotel. We arrived at around 9:30 AM and to our surprise, the concierge kindly allowed us to check in early. That gesture alone turned our trip around. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The location is also excellent, less than 5 minutes from the nearest subway station, surrounded by great local eateries, and the airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel. From a chaotic first night to a memorable stay, Hotel Peyto made all the difference. I truly loved this hotel and will highly recommend it to all my friends visiting Seoul.

The hotel is conveniently located near two metro stations (a few minutes walk to exit 2 at Yangjae station and about 15-min walk to Gangnam Station giving you access to the Shinbundang line). Rooms are small but clean and functional, except for the tight space between the bed and the desk so you will have to sit awkwardly if you have to work. Lots of restaurants nearby. We prefer the Shilla Stay nearby but this is a more affordable option.

Clean newer hotel with very small rooms. One chair and no drawers for clothes. Hangars behind the door. Recommended for 1 or 2 people. They charge extra for additional people. Conveniently located near Subway and airport bus stop.

Was located in a convenient location for me to get to places like the Seoul Arts Center. There are bakeries and convenience stores around, so there was no issue getting food. Staff was friendly and the room was spacious enough for a solo traveller like myself.
