Hotel Peyto Samseong

The front desk staff are friendly, positive, and easy to communicate with. Their service feels well balanced—not over the top, but never lacking—which made the stay very comfortable. It’s a calm, thoughtful style of hospitality that feels different from the sometimes overly formal Japanese-style omotenashi.||Housekeeping is also excellent. The rooms are always clean, neatly organized, and feel fresh every time. I originally booked this hotel just for its convenient location, but the quality of service was an unexpected bonus. It honestly felt like a lucky find, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was in a prime location - very close to Samseong Station which was conveniently on Line 2, so it was very easy to get to many Seoul hotspots. Next door was also Coex Hyundai, which boasted many restaurants and delicious food stalls. The staff were also very accomodating and understanding. When my initial room was a bit dirty, they happily switched my room for another one. However, the price paid (which wasn’t cheap) was only worth it for the location. The walls of the rooms were very thin and I could hear a very passionate couple next door 😟 the rooms also felt old and not kept in the best conditions over the years.

Stayed for 2 nights for a conference in coex. Check in was easy, staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was okay, bed was a bit small, but modern and clean. Bathroom was okay, it was decent. Great location, it was just across the coex mall and very near to airport limousine bus terminal. Minimarkets are plenty nearby, also many options for food. Public transportation is everywhere, its very easy to move around from here

Perfect location for sightseeing and airport transportation. Friendly staff. “Tony” was exceptional. I had 3 suitcases which were hard to handle alone. Tony voluntarily offered me help to take them to my room with me. The hotel centrally controls the temperature, so it was a little bit chilly but it wasn’t bad. The shower had two heads, a rainfall and a hand-held. The hand-held shower head didn’t work. Overall, nice hotel.

Nice hotel. Great location right next to a beautiful mall. Rooms were cleaned every other day. But there are some minor inconveniences that make me deduct a couple of stars. One evening I wanted to do some laundry at 9:30. But I was told I was not allowed to because the laundry machines close at 10pm. I was out all day, I needed clean laundry for the next day, but they refused to let me do laundry. Also, there is a nice big table in the lobby. I went to do some work on my computer and I brought my bag of food from McDonalds to eat. The person at the front desk came over and quite firmly told me I am not allowed to eat. She told me to go to my room to eat. But there is no space in my room to work on my computer. I don't see why I can't quietly eat at the table while I work on my laptop. There is no one else around. The person at the desk was polite in a firm but rude way. Anyway, I am writing this review while I am going hungry because of their silly rule.

The location is perfect across from Coex mall. You can easily take a direct bus to the airport too! The room was a little small and laundry charges were additional, but apart from that I had a great stay!

Good Stay Overall, But “Do Not Disturb” Sign Is IneffectiveOverall, my stay at Hotel Peyto Samseong was good. The location is convenient, and the staff are polite and helpful, making the experience comfortable.However, there is one concern with housekeeping. Even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign is placed on the door, housekeeping still enters the room using their key card. It appears they are required to do so to log or prove that housekeeping duties have been completed, which makes the “Do Not Disturb” sign essentially ineffective.Aside from this issue, the overall experience was very positive, and I enjoyed my stay.

He went above and beyond to help with check-in, offered clear explanations about hotel amenities, and even gave thoughtful local recommendations that made my stay so much more enjoyable.||Tony’s kindness, patience, and attention to detail truly stood out. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in his work.
