Hotel Pfauen - Villa Thai Restaurant

I loved the ambience and how respectful and kind the servers were..the food was also very good but overpriced compared to other Thai restaurants that sell the same food.

Very family unfriendly. The lady and sushi chef were so rude to our children. Would recommend to go only if you’re in desperate need of Asian food and can’t find anything else. Otherwise, skip!

We stayed for one night when driving back up North, coming from Switzerland. The room is really basic, old, see pictures. When checking underneath the bed there was a molded babypacifier and babybottle there from previous guests. The bathroom is basic at best. Value for money is in that sense really bad. We would not stay here again. And paying extra for a baby bed is also not something that we see as a usual surcharge. The restaurant itself is nice, good food, we had Thai food. And in the morning the service to cater for our breakfast time was also nice, although the way we were treated for being at breakfast at 7.34 instead of 7.30 was not very welcoming at all.

Nice bathroom, the rest of the hotel was a bit old and very overpriced. Both the rooms and the food. The service from the young lady with glasses was amazing. I can’t say the same from what seemed to be the owners, that rushed us everywhere and weren’t very kind.

Rooms in 80 look. Cozy and clean. The Thai restaurant which is the heart was nothing less than excelent and the service was far above average. One night for 2 with a full menu with wine below 300€. Good idea for a weekend escape.

Service was very courteous but not intrusive. The food was very high quality and authentic Thai cuisine. I don't know about the Japanese cuisine but you can watch the sushi being made freshly by a professional. Prices are in the higher sector but the great food is definitely worth it.

Good quality, tasty meals in very high prices. Nice atmosphere with not-so-welcoming service by the owner herself. We paid a visit as a small group with a kid without reservation. Although the waiter was quite professional and friendly, the owner of the restaurant was very rude when taking our orders, organising our table and serving. We speculated if we offended her by coming in casual dress, or by bringing a small kid. My husband even wondered if there were ongoing conflicts between Thai people and Chinese people which we were not aware. But when I read the feedback from other customers, I realized that the owner's attitude is commonly received as negative. For food lovers who don't mind about service and who are willing to spend more for a nice meal, this is still a recommended place to check out.
