Hotel Phuntsho Pelri

A good hotel with big size well furnished room. It was in a very good location and staffs were polite and helpful. Food was very good. Room maintenance was good. Room heaters were good, the hotel made with excellent wood work and maintained. Staffs were very helpful and looked after us well.

A good central hotel close to main shopping street and all facilities. The evening meals and breakfast were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. We received a cup of tea upon arrival which was nice.

This was the coziest stay in Thimpu.I loved the clean rooms and the service .Good and strong Wi-Fi.Spacious rooms with heater facilities. Clean bathroom with hot water .Beautiful paintings adorning every wall and a beautiful stay.

Super stay. Elegant and centrally located in Thimphu, this hotel offers warm Bhutanese hospitality, clean and spacious rooms, and traditional decor. A great location for exploring the city’s culture and charm.

We were happy with this 3* hotel. The staff were polite and helpful especially the dining room ladies. |Rooms were clean and shower was good. A safe was provided.|We had dinner there for 2 nights and it was nice. We had vegetarian food. |Breakfast was ok. They offered to make eggs/omelette. |Service overall was great.

Extremely hard beds, making it impossible to sleep, wifi doesn’t work most of the time, no mosquito nets on windows so very hot room as unable to open windows. One star for the outstanding cook preparing very good meals and the very friendly staff. They are renovating their lobby at the moment but should prioritise the guest’s most important need: a comfortable bed to sleep in.

Hotel Phuntsho Pelri is one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. The staff is excellent, caring and very hospitable. We felt that we were at home throughout our 4 days there. The meals were excellent and made according to our requests by the great chef Mr Karna and his team. I would also like to compliment the lovely ladies at the reception, the superb housekeeping staff and the wonderful people at the restaurant namely Kinzang, Tshering, Sangli and Choki. Keep up the good work!!! We look forward to staying with you all again soon!!! I missed mentioning that the rooms, facilities, beds, linen etc are very good and comfortable too. The lounge with its comfortable couches and superb location of excellent books on Bhutan is a must visit and perfect for meetings too. The wifi is excellent as well with good network in the rooms as well. Anyone in the tourism industry should learn about the high standards of hospitality from the wonderful staff at Hotel Phuntsho Pelri.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and the linen fresh. Housekeeping staff doing a good job. Full marks to the restaurant team. Being the only vegetarian guests we were served with meals is our choice. Reception staff also very helpful. The only issue was the wi-fi and limited servings for tea coffee maker.
