We stayed in room 308 with a view of Nätschen and the meandering MGB train. The place was well designed such that we could settle in well for a week long trip and not feel like we are living out of our suitcases. The proprietor is clearly hardworking, there from breakfast to dinner with his polite and friendly staff. The photos are from the room, looking at the grand 10 minute firework show on New Year’s which launches by Gütsch. There’s no sauna, but there is a warm and dry ski room with a boot warming rack. In the room there’s a coffee machine, fridge, fantastic hair dryer, and a heated towel drying rack. But there’s no kettle. The room had one upholstered chair and a desk chair; I think other rooms have bigger sitting areas. Having an elevator direct between the ski room and rooms felt like an indispensable luxury after full days on the slopes. An excellent stay in Andermatt where you can ski from the top of Gemstock and follow the signs to Andermatt Dorf and end up a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel. The beds were firm and super comfortable; the sheets cotton and soft; the towels large and soft.

Beautifully renovated hotel in a fabulous location, very close to the train station ( we caught the Glacier Express, so very handy) ||Manager was friendly, helpful.||We loved our room, quite spacious and south facing lounge area with sun streaming in. ||Breakfast not cooked, but absolutely delicious and fresh. Best bread and croissants ever!

We stayed in Piz Badus for a week in January and truly had an amazing time! The hotel is extremely well-located, it is 3 minute walk from the gondola AND the train station. The staff has been super helpful and wonderful, huge thank you to the owner! The rooms are very spacious, clean and well taken care of. The absolute star of the show was the steakhouse restaurant! The chef is brilliant ⭐️, we had 3 dinners at the restaurant and every single dish was spectacular! We really enjoyed the steaks but honorary mention to the miso chicken, which was mind-blowing. Really recommend this hotel and the restaurant to anyone who’s traveling to Piz Badus!

Easy and quick to walk to from the railway station. Comfortable room and good breakfast. They have a large luggage storage room near boot room which is useful. Shame no possibility for guests on B&B to add dinner (the steakhouse is too expensive to eat there). Recommend booking a table at Spycher for lunch or dinner.

We stayed for three days. The plan was to take a trip on the Furka steam train. On arrival we were greeted by Mr. Kirchhübel the manager/owner. Our room was spacious and well laid out. The matresses were new, firm and comfortable. The Hotel was renewed in December. The only drawback if one wants to sleep in the afternoon is the noise of the traffic, especially the motorcycles, on the road in front of the Hotel. At night the road is quiet. The restaurant Steakhouse was extremely good and fair value for money taking into account Swiss prices. The service was friendly and one was left in peace. In the morning breakfast on the fifth floor, with a vew over the valley, was a good way to start the day.

I became ill the week I was supposed to stay and they kindly allowed me to push my booking back a week. The rooms are clean and updated, the breakfast is excellent, and you are close to the Gutsch-Express Gondola. Excellent.

Lovely hotel, excellent service, and clearly very carefully (and recently) renovated. Also, and perhaps most importantly, the in-house kitchen - Piz Badus Steakhouse - was by far and repeatedly our best meal of the trip (and we enjoyed some of the Michelin star options in town). The head chef is also the hotel’s operator, and boy oh boy does this man work hard and do a great job. On a past trip to Andermatt, we spent a few nights in the super luxury hotel across the street from Piz Badus and we frankly found Piz Badus to be better suited to the kind of vibe we seek on a week-long ski trip. Andermatt is decidedly un-fancy, so why bother with a stuffy super-chic hotel? I had lots of work to do while I was in Andermatt, and I had no problem finding spots around the hotel to comfortably sit and work and handle conference calls from.
