Hotel Plaka

The rooftop bar on top of Hotel Plaka was amazing. The staff was really welcoming and helpful, cocktails were amazing and the view was spectacular. A quite and calm bar. We visited a Friday night in the end of January and had some people around us, however still a very nice and chill environment. Would love to come back!

I'm so positively surprised about how great everything was in this hotel! The location is unbeatable, right in the center of everything with great views from the room but also from the terrace where you have a panoramic view of Athens and a super close view of Parthenon! The staff are so kind and friendly, I couldn't ask for a smoother and friendlier stay. The room and bathroom have enough space, best size for two. the balcony is lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was absolutely lovely, this will be my go-to hotel in Athens. Thank you!

Our recent stay at Plaka Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, The rooftop bar was the highlight of our stay. The breathtaking views of the Acropolis were simply stunning, with very friendly staff. The hotel's location couldn't be better. We were just steps away from Monastiraki Square, putting us within easy reach of all the major attractions, shops, ,restaurants and metro. The breakfast was also very good with multiple options. Overall, highly recommend Plaka Hotel to anyone visiting Athens.

We loved our stay as usual at the Plaka Hotel. Thanks so much to Eva for making our stay exceptional. Our room was an Acropolis view. Breakfast was great and our bed was comfortable. This is the best hotel in Athens and the location is unbeatable. We can't wait to return.

We LOVE this hotel. Fantastic location, great price. Rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful for any needs. Two grocery stores within 500 feet. And the breakfast is great. Highly recommend this hotel, book it if they have rooms available for your trip dates.

This hotel offers exceptional value for money! The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need and are impeccably maintained. While it doesn’t have the luxury of a five-star hotel—like four towels per person or a mountain of pillows—you’ll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable: close to everything but just off Ermou Street, so you avoid the crowds and noise. The staff were fantastic. We requested face towels and received them immediately. We also arranged a taxi to the airport for the next morning, and it arrived right on time. We didn’t have a chance to fully enjoy the breakfast, so I can’t comment much on it. However, we tried some pastries, which were nice, and had coffee from the machine, which wasn’t to my taste (though I admit I’m a coffee enthusiast with high standards). Overall, this is an amazing hotel at a great price. Highly recommended!
