Hotel Planja

Hotel did the deed for basic services of clean sheets and hot water showers. Rooms were tiny though and everything was closed- their website could benefit from more description on hours of available activities (swimming, sauna, adventure park, bike rentals) and because of that we missed out on all of these things.

Family rooms have a bit narrow beds for kids. Otherwise ok rooms. Floor was a bit dirty when we arrived, but they apologized and cleaned it on request. Location is great, near chairlift. Too bad you get only 5 day ski card for 5 nights and no way to upgrade to 6 day. Food is good, mostly marked with allergens.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights to get away from the city heat wave and enjoy magnificent Slovenian nature. ||The hotel is in great location.|Rooms Are rather small but modern. We had a beautiful balcony. We were situated on the ground floor. As some other reviews have said, the hallway doors were open and you can feel the light breeze coming in the hall. We didn't have a problem with that since it was July and we loved the quick access to the playground. However It could be tricky in the winter months and would NEVER take ground floor room in that case. |The stuff was very very polite. Especially on the reception. We were late for our dinner for the first night and was allowed to eat in the restaurant "stara koča" if I am not mistaken. That was very nice. |The hotel food was ok, nothing too fancy, but tasty. |The swimming pool area was clean, with one big and one small swimming pool. There aren't a lot of sunbeds next to the pool. I wonder how it looks like in winter months when the hotel gets crowded. ||All in all we had a beautiful stay and would come again!

Nice ski resort with the traditional hotel Planja. We have been visited it for 10 years and the personal was very kind, food very good and service well organised. They also have ski and all equipment for rent and next to hotel the small shop with everything. Inside hotel is an old traditional woden house incorporated within new architecture called " brunarica" with local food like " Pohorski lonec". Nice place to visit!

Hi everyone|We stayed here last year for one night and it was nice mostly because you have a lot of different things you can do in surrounding areas. Also the new part of the hotel is very nice decorated, especially the rooms are very beautiful in wooden design. The only interesting thing is that if you book directly with them and you stay less Then two days, you have to pay additional fee because you’re staying less than two days, but if you book through booking for one night you can only pay for one night. Believe me it true. I did my research and at the end I was surprised as well, because normally if you book directly with the hotel, it usually comes a few euro cheaper. The breakfast was buffet and it was a great variety of different choices even though the contain is very old-fashioned. I hope in the near future they will also renovate the dining area but other than that we had a pleasant two days stay.

Extremely nice and hardworking staff, they were really empressive especially in restaurant. I love it! Rooms are small but every bit is put too a good use. Ski tracks are empressivly good for children,like a “mašinžaga”track. A pool is also very good. To put it simply, a place worth visiting.:)

It is gorgeous hotel, with amasing rooms. I was kn business trip, but honesty, it is places just to do sports or eventually spa. There is nothing around, and when I say nothing, it is literally just forest. Only bad thing about this place is food. There was almost non vegan options, even vegetarian were rare. For vegan options was only potato's and rice and raw tofu if you ask for it. So bring vegan snacks with you!

I have visited their sauna as a outside guest. Saunas are nice, but they were lacking some tea of fresh fruit which you usually get in wellness. They have a uniq rest beds which are made of dried grass and makes you feel like sleeping in a barn like they did in the old times. Nice experience and would recommend!
