We booked 3 nights here for my husband's 80th birthday. We asked for the 3rd floor and paid extra for "a sea view." We walked into our room to discover that the 3rd floor is the bottom floor and just like another reviewer said, the view was the back of a bunch of buildings - see my pictures! Especially "pleasing" was the graffitti of a huge penis on the building right in front of us! We asked for another room and they said no. We are in our 70s and the 3 flights of stairs were a challenge, but we thought is would be worth it for the splurge for the view. It wasn't. I noticed that everything in the room was in English, so maybe they save these rooms for Americans. Oh, and someone upstairs would smoke on their balcony and drop ashes all over out. We loved the location, but that's it. The staff didn't seem to care. I also complained when we checked out, but no one offered us any kind of compensation. Also, everyone should know that there is a Very Very steep hill between the hotel and the main street of town below. Many seniors could not do it.

We were very happy with this hotel. We had the 2 level suite with kitchen. The kitchen could have had a few more amenities like paper towel and drying cloths. The location up on the hill afforded a beautiful view of the water. It was a short walk down to the Main Street. The outdoor space was very relaxing and a perfect place to eat our homemade dinner. We would return!

Room is a good size. Walls are like paper, you hear everything and when someone uses the faucets or shower, it's very loud you'd think it's in your room. No elevators, so carrying luggages 15 steps up and down isn't fun. The room is clean, but old. Rating it a 2 stars is fair.

Very clean, very well maintained. The ocean view is fantastic. It's actually a 4 star hotel hidden like a gem sparkling at the hillside of Gaspé bay. Definitely would visit again if I could not afford an RV but needed to quench the dream of traveling the east coastline.

You probably won’t get the room you booked and payed! I booked a deluxe apartment with two beds and got a room with one bed. After complaining, the staff wouldn’t help us - not even an apology. Even they refused to print us an invoice.. after discussing for 15min I left without an invoice. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Also: the images on booking.com are only few new built rooms - most of the rooms look much older.

I booked my room through Hotels.com for $175, specifically because it was supposed to have a partial lake view. However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that no rooms with a partial lake view were available. She instead gave me a standard room without any lake view, but still charged me the same price.||I paid extra to enjoy the view, but the hotel didn’t deliver what was promised. This really affected my stay, and overall, I had a terrible experience with this hotel.

A very good hotel, relatively newly renovated, spacious and clean rooms. Our room had an ocean view and a balcony with chairs, we could sit there to watch the sunset. The service was excellent. The only downside was it did not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up or down stairs.

The Hotel is situated in the centre of Gaspé with a lovely view of the bay and is very close to the downtown stores and restaurants. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The pool was very clean and well cared for.
