Hotel Playa Cambutal

Lovely location and beautiful woodwork. It is a difficult road to get there. We arrived and got settled in after a Quick Look around. The wood furniture and art are divine. The room was small with a nice view. There was an odor that was a bit disturbing and hard to determine the whereabouts of its location but think it came from near the bathroom.||The guest service was nice and friendly. We will go again some day and stay longer to explore more.

Very warm and friendly. Excellent cuisine. The best hamburger I’ve ever tasted. Nice affogato. |Seafood is so fresh. Beautiful room.

Just stopped by and ate some lunch. Lunch was refreshing and great flavor. I got a fusion rice bowl with a variety of topping, very tasty. If in the area, I will definitely stop by to grab a meal.

Wonderful Bacon Cheese Burger. Sorry about the picture I couldn't resist taking a bite first! Great place for refreshments. I haven't stayed in the hotel but the service in the lobby and the restaurant is above par. I will return.

This is a piece of heaven. We went for lunch on a rainy day and we asked the receptionist to show us a room. Everything was really organized and cute! The pool area is my fav! A piece of heaven. Food was good and margarita was great.

This is a wonderful hotel in a remote beach on the Pacific coast of Panama. It’s far away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a long way to get there and the road on the last hour to the hotel is the only stretch with potholes The rest of the way was nicely paved and marked. The beach has dark gray volcanic sand and the surf is strong. It’s a paradise for surfers. We went there for the seclusion. Only has 10 rooms although 15 more rooms are being added. Nice pool, beautiful grounds. The restaurant is excellent with surprisingly high quality gourmet food that never disappointed. Service was excellent too. The owner stopped by one our table of the days we were there and gave us the load down on the renovations. Can’t say more positive things about this place and our experience there.

That's a nice, intimate and very well kept hotel right on the beach in Cambutal. Restaurant is good and service is efficient albeit informal. Love the fact that they are always available to prepare in a gourmet fashion my personal catch of the day. All in all it is my favourite hideout on the Pacific coast of Panama.

As bad as I hate to leave a GREAT and Awesome review for this little gem .......... I gotta do it and be honest !! I just don't want the whole world finding this place and booking up all my days !!! :) ABSOLUTELY the most gorgeous, friendly, and FIVE STAR chef worthy culinary masterpiece I've ever known on the Pacific coast !!!! A Diamond in the jungle is the best way to explain !! I can never say enough ........ you just have to experience it. I'll give you the things that stood out the MOST, buy everything was perfect so don't let my main focuses deter you from understanding that every little piece of this heaven on the Azuero Peninsula is utter perfection !! The staff and managers are top notch #1 AWESOME, the grounds-the pool-the restaurant-the rooms ........ all were so clean and pristine. OK but the heart and soul of this juicy little Pacific coast hideaway is the FOOD .... like nothing I've ever had, even at the most fanciest of five star restaurants ..... this baby takes em all .... we tried every dish on the menu and not one of them even was remotely questionable !! I've never had a more flavorful and individually unique taste from every single dish served !!! The manager and chefs are making some culinary dreams come true in that cocina !!!! We are fishermen and connoisseurs of unique foods ...... the manager even let the chefs cook some of our tuna we caught that same day in several different ways and serve to us one night for dinner !! Take me back now !!
