Hotel Plaza Colón

This hotel was fantastic. Stayed here for 4 nights during my stay in Nicaragua and I’m glad I did. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. One morning I had an early tour, so the staff prepared me breakfast to ensure I had something. I even saw the bartender out while exploring the city after his shift and he was very nice. You will be able to hear a little noise from the street, but no worries, best hotel, best location, best everything!

We stayed here for the final night of our trip, and it was perfect. The rooms are beautiful, clean with comfortable beds and an amazing shower/bathroom. We had one of the ground floor rooms which open out onto the pool/breakfast area, which we loved. There's no roof above the pool, so you're under the sky. The staff are super accomodating, they helped with anything we needed. The breakfast was fabulous too, lots of options, and there's a bar/mini-restaurant - fairly limited food options but what is there is very good. Honestly we didn't want to leave the hotel, would happily still be there!

Enjoyed our stay. Room was quiet only ding was not really a window. Bed was okay but not over the top. Pool was cold. Breakfast was very good. Nice place - nicest in Grenada.

This hotel was amazing. It was right in the city of Grenada and it was very easy to walk to many places. The restaurants were fantastic and it has a really nice colonial pool with a beautiful pool. Stay here!!!!!!!!!

Lovely clean hotel with very pleasant and attentive staff. We had a huge room with balcony looking onto the square. However, the paving was being replaced in the square which precluded us from using the balcony due to dust and noise. Also, there is no privacy from the neighbouring balconies. We enjoyed fresh fruit, granola with yogurt and honey and freshly-prepared omelettes for breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The hotel’s atmosphere was wonderful. The ongoing cleanliness I noticed throughout my stay was impressive. The staff were very cooperative and friendly. And finally, the hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel has a café that’s among the most famous and delicious in the city.

Comfortable and large room, enjoyed our stay of one night. Breakfast was served in the pool garden area, nice decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Convenient location and a good place to stay in Granada. The welcome drink of a macua was a nice touch.

Really can't ask for more, friendly and helpful staff, free delicious breakfast, fast response time, clean spacious rooms and prime location. Bonus- environmental friendly, offering refillable bottles and recycle bins in rooms. 100% recommend!
