We stayed there for 3 days. Excellent stay. The hotel is new, very clean, rooms are comfortable. The location is perfect, next to restaurants, bars. The shop owner in the hotel is super nice and helpful. Overall, we had a great time! Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places I've stayed at yet. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft, cushy, and comfortable. The rooms get pitch black, the thermostat is simple to use, and falling asleep after a long day is EFFORTLESS. And the best part, it's always super quiet. If you're a party animal or you love to explore at night, you're located super close to bars, food joints, and scenic paths. Everything is at most a 10 minute. Of an the owner, Jean, is super friendly. He's always opening the doors for everyone and trying to proactively help out. If you stay the night, definitely drop by their store in the lobby. The guy who runs the store, Mason, is super generous and cool too. If I visit Puerto Rico again, I know where I'm staying!

A party of 15 in our group and we had an amazing time at the Armas hotel. The hotel was well maintained and reasonably priced. This hotel is located near restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The hotel owner Mason was exceptional. He made sure we felt welcomed from the time we arrived. His personality and commitment to to his guest was evident throughout the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you're looking for great prices and staff who cares check out this place.

Great location with lots to do right around that area. The square right out front was an added bonus to just relax with great coffee place right there. Rooms were nice and clean beds were great and staff was friendly. You must check out the statues at the fountain at night time it is a great surprise to watch.

This place is in the heart of old San Juan. This is a local gem. It is very clean and just right for rooming before a cruise. The prices were some of the most affordable in the area. The staff were very friendly. The owner was very knowledgable and very accommodating to my 15 guest and such a sweetheart! This was a twin and I birthday cruise. Mason the owner is very polite, personable and professional. He made sure that we were safe and knew where we were going and had some great suggestions. There is a lot of local restaurants, stores, and sight seeing museum, shopping all around. I also love the local slush shop next door. Very generous sizes for a good prices. Thanks for being a great host to me and my guest There is also a cute photo booth attach to the hotel so cute!!!!! -Latrice 🩷

Newly renovated rooms... Small, austere, very bare bones, clean! Shower has 2 settings... cold or very cold. Great location in center of busy historic area, which implies no parking. Friendly staff. Several safe clean tables in courtyard area

Location, location, location. It's in the center and a few steps away from all the happening and historical places. Friendly and efficient staff! Very clean and recently renovated Rooms. It's a "No frills" hotel with just the basics, soap, shampoo, towels and soft paper are provided. Very comfortable soft yet firm bed with 4 pillows, sheet and comforter, Adjacent to the lobby, in the same building, there's a shaved ice parlor that offers free coffee and muffins to the hotel guests. The shop keeper is super friendly and attentive. Our toom had a small fridge with plenty of space for water bottles, soft drinks, leftovers, etc. No closet but plenty of drawers on the night tables and under the bed too! There's a coat hanging peg with about 7 hangers that was perfect for our needs. A thermostat allows you to control the AC. The nice flat screen TV has cable TV channels (English/Spanish). The excellent insulation from outsode/street noise allowed us to sleep without any interruptions. The front desk employee (Edgard and the ithers) were super helpful by providing restaurant information and directions as well as a great place to park the car about 8 mins away (walking distance). I'd recommend leaving the luggage after checkin and parking the car. They also allowed us to store the luggage after checkout so we could enjoy more of old San Juan and then bring our car to pick it up. Will definitely come back to enjoy more old San Juan magic in this great and centric hotel. I'd give it another star if it would have had napkins, a couple of plastic cups in the bathroom, and a few places to dry out the towels. I was told that the latter were going to be installed soon. The wifi was good and there's no desk but there's a shared area in the hotel that has about 12 small tables with chairs where one can work from.
