Hotel Plaza Osaka

Just checked in at Hotel Plaza Osaka and already extremely impressed. The staff have been incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Muniru and Quyen, who assisted us so warmly and professionally. We were even kindly upgraded to a better room at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful surprise. If this is how the experience starts, I’m really looking forward to the rest of our time here.

I stayed at this hotel in Osaka for 4 nights, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The entire property is spotless at all times, and every single employee we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Additionally, the buffet is excellent. There is a variety of western to Japanese food in the buffet. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering that the hotel offers a complimentary **kimono photo shoot**. We were able to schedule it for the same day, and it was conveniently located on the third floor. The manager, **Muniru**, made the whole experience unforgettable. He was so accommodating and patient, helping us with the kimono setup and taking as many photos as we wanted. His friendliness and attention to detail really stood out. On top of that, we had trouble figuring out the shower head in our room. After mentioning it to the front desk, Muniru personally came up to show me how it worked. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. If I ever return to Osaka, I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend!

I have been a guest in this hotel for a few days and although I didn't use much of all the things this facility has to offer ( like many different themed reataurants spread out on its 19 floors or the gym because I have a tattoo ) it fulfilled my needs 100 %. It is just a short trip from Osaka Station ( take the train for one stop to Juso Station ) and a mere 5 minute walk until you reach it. On your way you will find many convenience stores, restaurants and shops. On my first day I arrived late at the hotel ( between 6-7 p.m. ) but I was greeted by a nice female receptionist. I tried to muster up my courage to check in using the little bits of japanese language I learned but she anticpitated that and started the conversation in English and I even got a lovely welcome gift in form of a room upgrade at no additional charges. This hotel offers everything you need so you can unwind and relax and focus on your day trips to uncover the many wonders Osaka has to offer. Four days weren't enough to visit everything but I will try to visit Japan again and then I'd pick this hotel again for sure. The only downside is you might have a hard time in Osaka if you are a smoker as they banned public smoking in January 2025. I tried to find small restricted smoking zones but wasn't able to find any so I had to live without ~ it was managable and doesn't influence the opinion of me staying in Hotel Plaza Osaka at all. I definetely recommend it. :)

Great hotel. Staff allowed late check in due to a delayed flight. Rooms were spacious (for Japan), clean, & comfortable. Location was good with a short walk to the train station. View from the room was nice, seeing the river & city. I would happily stay here again.

Hitomi and Nomura are both very helpful, hospitable and accomodating in our Kimono Dress Up in Hotel Plaza Osaka. They are polite and they make sure we look really good in our Kimono and they have different style of pose. We are extremely delighted and over the moon of the service of the photoshoot and Kimono experience plus its free if you stay in the hotel. They even gave us a chopstick as souvenier. Absolutely an amazing stay at Hotel Plaza Osaka. We were welcomed by Quyen who is such a nice and polite lady. Hotel room was very clean and perfect size. We were upgraded to a bigger room. We will definitely come back. Thank you. Amazing service.

The customer service was amazing! Both Hitomi and Nomura, the two girls helping us were very helpful and extremely friendly and kind. They made sure to take wonderful photos of us, served us delicious drinks and even gave us おみくじ (omikuji) The surprising part is that it’s all free!! You should definitely come and check it out at Hotel Plaza Osaka!!!!

I spent 4 nights at this hotel in Osaka, and my experience was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is spotless at all times, and the staff members are the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. During our stay, we learned they offered a free kimono photo session, which was such a pleasant surprise. We were able to book it for the same day on the third floor. The manager, Muniru, made the whole experience so enjoyable. He assisted me with putting on the kimonos and took countless photos for me.
