Hotel Plaza

This is a great hotel and I can’t praise them highly enough. My family stayed for just over a week, in the family solution. Excellent location - right in the centre, but tucked along a slightly quieter road. The rooms were great - modern, clean, quiet, with all the amenities needed. The pool was nice (though busy in the afternoons), and the bar had a nice ambiance (one night with a violinist). What sets this hotel apart in my opinion, is the service. The staff are super friendly. All the way from responding to our questions before booking, to going out of their way to provide a breakfast which met our dietary needs. As I arrived, I got a tooth infection, and the reception staff were so sympathetic and helpful to find an emergency (same day) dental appointment. All sorted in one day and I was able to enjoy my holiday. A huge thank you to the staff for making our holiday special and memorable.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!!!! I’ll start with breakfast because it’s nice to start your day with good food. I truly loved their offerings, everything local and delicious. Staff serving it was very kind and attentive. The rooftop pool is very quaint and the warm water was really nice. Location - so close to everything! The rooms a bit more on the smaller size, but we didn’t need anything more. Lastly, our daughter got sick during our trip so we stayed two extra days than we intended. They helped in every which way they could. We called a doctor then we went and saw a doctor too. Thank you kindly for everything you do!! When you strive for excellence it shows!!

This was an excellent hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the room was so nice and clean. We had a walkin shower, which is also very nice and a walk in closet. Loved the rooftop pool and bar. It is very close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a family room at Hotel Plaza. The hotel is simple yet very modern in terms of amenities and interior design. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got to know a bartender, Carlo, who is the best. He makes excellent drinks. The hotel's location is outstanding as everything is within walking distance. As far as breakfast goes, nothing is special, but it's decent.

We had a great stay in Sorrento! The lobby and rooftop bar are beautiful, with fun bright colors. The pool is a great spot to relax after a long day of exploring! The upper floor rooms are fun and seem to be recently updated - and while the lower floors are not quite as recently updated, they were still very nice and clean and we had a great stay. The breakfast was very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return if we are in Sorrento again! Thank you!

The hotel is fantastic - it offers a delicious and varied breakfast, a great small pool, and a beautiful rooftop. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was recently renovated and very clean. The location couldn’t be better - everything is just a 3–5 minute walk away, whether it’s the beach or a restaurant. However, the biggest issue for us was the poor soundproofing. You can hear everything, from someone watching TV to even light snoring. Unfortunately, I was woken up every morning by doors slamming. If the soundproofing could be improved, this would truly be a perfect place to stay.

Our stay at Hotel Plaza was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location - very close to Piazza Tasso and an 8-10 minute walk to the ferry or bus/train station. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast each morning, which included standard continental breakfast items and traditional pastries.||The staff is very welcoming and helpful - from front reception and housekeeping to the breakfast and bar servers. They proactively reached out via email to assist with hotel transport immediately after we booked our stay and always offered tips and recommendations. ||Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again on our next stay.

A perfectly placed hotel to visit Sorrento, minutes from the main square and a short walk for bus/ferry facilities.||The room and hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean throughout our stay and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive at all times.||The buffet style breakfasts were superb and always well stocked throughout the morning. We also ate at the Sky bar on several occasions and the food was delicious. Special thanks to Matteo who could not be more helpful or cheerful.||The infinity pool gave a fantastic view of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius and was a great place to unwind, the toilets here were probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a pool area.||The stay would have been improved if we had a balcony but overall could not fault the hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a central location, near the Piazza, and easily walkable to many restaurants and shops as well as the ferry to Capri, Almafi,, etc. it's a beautiful place, the bar in front has a great patio and seating area in front of hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet with cappuccinos and mimosas. The rooftop pool has gorgeous views and also has a bar. The rooms are modern and spacious. And the customer service is excellent, from our welcome by the lovely Cynthia when we checked in to the various staff who waited on us or cleaned our room. It's a great place! Ciao!

The hotel is Eco friendly with less plastic bags in the trash as well as eco friendly toilet tissue. The rooms are wonderfully quiet and beds are very comfortable. The breakfast room has more selections than you can consume in one meal.Lovely almond pistachio tarts to delightful fruits and of course a selection of meats and cheeses. The wait staff is cordial . The front desk staff is very attentive as well. Enjoy the rooftop bar- where the view and services will not disappoint.My husband and I sat here enjoying our cocktails with small plates of beef carpaccio and fresh ricotta as well as a view of a fabulous sunset. The infinity pool also has a magnificent view from the rooftop. Located on a side street, it is a block to the main shopping and dining . The downstairs bar/ coffee room has a outdoor seating area for a morning cappuccino and done people watching as the local constable is there keeping traffic moving. With so many choices here for places to stay this hotel was a true resort vacation! Raffael at the front desk welcomed us and was sure our private car always had a spot in front to park when needed. I'm sure we will stay here in the future!

Our 1st time here and I have to say, if you are ever out here this this the place to stay! Raffael was the best! Went over and beyond his service to help and advise as to where to see/ visit and restaurants to eat, even the restaurant her and top of the roof bar was breathtaking! Bartender Diego was so friendly.

What a hotel. Hotel Plaza is centrally located and close to everything. The hotel is immaculate. The rooms are quite large and brightly decorated. The bathrooms are perfectly adorned and very large. Lots of room to spread out. The gem of this hotel is the rooftop lounge and infinity pool that looks directly toward Mt Vesuvius. There is also a large lounge on the ground floor of the hotel that is perfectly appointed and very attentive. The staff are amazing and friendly and knew our names within one day. A joy to stay here.

We loved this hotel. Its new, perfectly located in the center of town, and is bright and airy. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and our sunny, comfortable, fifth floor room had a deck with a wonderful view of the city & the sea. The rooftop bar and pool are a delight. This is a great place to stay if you're using Sorrento as your home base to visit the Amalfi Coast.
