Hotel Plaza

My wife and I were married in Sorrento, we stayed at the hotel plaza and my opinion, we couldn't have chosen a better hotel!! The location is brilliant, you can walk to most things in Sorrento from here. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The sky bar was an amazing added extra. The cocktails were brilliant and the staff in the sky bar were tremendous! Friendly, funny and very helpful. The view from the sky bar is breathtaking! If I ever return to Sorrento, I'll 100% be staying here!

The hotel is centrally located and only a 2 minute walk to the Piazza Tasso. Very close to the ferries and bus/train station. The lobby bar and Sky Bar are very nice to sit and relax with a drink. The rooftop infinity pool overlooks Sorrento and the sea. The buffet breakfast was astonishing and Giuseppe was an awesome waiter. Housekeeping was super friendly and attentive to our requests. The gym has three cardio machines and weights to work off all those delicious pastries you eat at breakfast.

In one of the best parts of sorrento where everything is happening! The location cannot be beat if you’re traveling to Sorrento. You will be able to shop as soon as you step out of the hotel. The rooms are kind of small but the service is great if you can get one of the rooms with a balcony facing the main road your views of the city will be amazing. The breakfast is buffet style and the food is very good with servers. My only disappointment is there isn’t a real dining experience here but there isn’t a need for it since you can walk to any restaurant less than 1000ft away.

JUST got back from a week long stay in this beautiful hotel and I already want to go back immediately! From the first moment we arrived, we were so well taken care of. ||The hotel itself is beautiful, the room we were in has been totally refurbished and you can see a lot of money has been spent all around the place. It's central and whilst you may spend a little more to stay at the hotel it will be totally worth it as it will save you a huge amount on taxi fees! Every single staff member we encountered, from reception staff, bar tenders and cleaners, were so very kind, pleasant and went out of their way to help in any way. There are so many staff members we could mention but a special mention has to be given to Carlo our bartender who was so obliging, shared so much knowledge with us and gave us so many recommendations and some fabulous cocktails of course! And a special mention to Marianna who was the first staff member to greet us when we arrived and made us feel at home the moment we walked in through the door.||The whole week was just incredible, the holiday of a lifetime for both of us and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If we ever come back to Sorrento it would have to be this place, nowhere else. Thank you all so so much. Gracie! Delyth and Maureen xo

The views from the rooftop is wonderful! Everyone at the hotel was polite and courteous, specially Cinzia and Marianna from the reception who were so helpful and kind. Check in and check out were a breeze. The hotel is super clean, the rooms are big and comfortable. The location is perfect in the city center. We could walk to a lot of restaurants and in the evening the area becomes fully pedestrian, full of people and musicians performing. The hotel rooftop is a plus, with a wonderful swimming pool and a beautiful bar offering great drinks and food. The views are spectacular. Relaxing and enjoyable!

Hotel Plaza’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sorrento and within walking distance of the best restaurants, sights, and shopping. It’s just a 10–15 minute stroll down to the marina. The rooftop and pool area are super cute. The rooms were perfectly fine, though ours had a slight musty smell when we arrived (it cleared up after leaving the doors open overnight, which we would have done either way). We also enjoyed the breakfast! Overall, a fantastic choice for the price.

This is a great hotel and I can’t praise them highly enough. My family stayed for just over a week, in the family solution. Excellent location - right in the centre, but tucked along a slightly quieter road. The rooms were great - modern, clean, quiet, with all the amenities needed. The pool was nice (though busy in the afternoons), and the bar had a nice ambiance (one night with a violinist). What sets this hotel apart in my opinion, is the service. The staff are super friendly. All the way from responding to our questions before booking, to going out of their way to provide a breakfast which met our dietary needs. As I arrived, I got a tooth infection, and the reception staff were so sympathetic and helpful to find an emergency (same day) dental appointment. All sorted in one day and I was able to enjoy my holiday. A huge thank you to the staff for making our holiday special and memorable.

Wonderful staff ! Giuseppe at reception and Giuseppe at breakfast are a true assets to this property along with Ciunza very kind and Mariana. They can assist with anything and I appreciated that . Beds were comfy and good breakfast. Location is perfect close to everything and best for anything location point whether it is via train bus and a little bus down to take ferry but it ideally situated and that gives it a great advantage. See you next year ! |Sorrento is such a lovely town

I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a central location, near the Piazza, and easily walkable to many restaurants and shops as well as the ferry to Capri, Almafi,, etc. it's a beautiful place, the bar in front has a great patio and seating area in front of hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet with cappuccinos and mimosas. The rooftop pool has gorgeous views and also has a bar. The rooms are modern and spacious. And the customer service is excellent, from our welcome by the lovely Cynthia when we checked in to the various staff who waited on us or cleaned our room. It's a great place! Ciao!

The hotel is Eco friendly with less plastic bags in the trash as well as eco friendly toilet tissue. The rooms are wonderfully quiet and beds are very comfortable. The breakfast room has more selections than you can consume in one meal.Lovely almond pistachio tarts to delightful fruits and of course a selection of meats and cheeses. The wait staff is cordial . The front desk staff is very attentive as well. Enjoy the rooftop bar- where the view and services will not disappoint.My husband and I sat here enjoying our cocktails with small plates of beef carpaccio and fresh ricotta as well as a view of a fabulous sunset. The infinity pool also has a magnificent view from the rooftop. Located on a side street, it is a block to the main shopping and dining . The downstairs bar/ coffee room has a outdoor seating area for a morning cappuccino and done people watching as the local constable is there keeping traffic moving. With so many choices here for places to stay this hotel was a true resort vacation! Raffael at the front desk welcomed us and was sure our private car always had a spot in front to park when needed. I'm sure we will stay here in the future!

Our 1st time here and I have to say, if you are ever out here this this the place to stay! Raffael was the best! Went over and beyond his service to help and advise as to where to see/ visit and restaurants to eat, even the restaurant her and top of the roof bar was breathtaking! Bartender Diego was so friendly.

What a hotel. Hotel Plaza is centrally located and close to everything. The hotel is immaculate. The rooms are quite large and brightly decorated. The bathrooms are perfectly adorned and very large. Lots of room to spread out. The gem of this hotel is the rooftop lounge and infinity pool that looks directly toward Mt Vesuvius. There is also a large lounge on the ground floor of the hotel that is perfectly appointed and very attentive. The staff are amazing and friendly and knew our names within one day. A joy to stay here.

We loved this hotel. Its new, perfectly located in the center of town, and is bright and airy. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and our sunny, comfortable, fifth floor room had a deck with a wonderful view of the city & the sea. The rooftop bar and pool are a delight. This is a great place to stay if you're using Sorrento as your home base to visit the Amalfi Coast.
