"An Exclusive Taste of the French Caribbean at Plein Soleil Plein Soleil has only 16 guestrooms and suites spread among five colourful villas. Each villa is designed in the style of traditional Martinican creole cases, or petite houses adorned with wooden fretwork. Just beautiful... But they have tough competition in the looks department from the artfully presented meals served at Plein Soleil's hillside restaurant overlooking the seaside town of Le Francois. Just beautiful..."

THE CAFÉ GOURMAND Fg

We’ve had a nice experience staying at the hotel. All went well. The room even the basic one was already a nice room to stay. From their website, I thought that I booked a room with private pool but it wasn’t and the lady at the reception showed me how it works. You did well miss. Their website is a bit weird, from my point of view, it would be better when you entered the master pool or suite duplex reservation, that if the room isn’t available ask you to go back to the rooms available. But anyway, the superior room weren’t available for that night. Breakfast was nice but it would be better to let people know it wasn’t vegan by adding a blood pudding to the eggs. Same for the hot chocolate, I thought that I ordered a hot chocolate with soy milk but I get a regular hot chocolate made with cow milk and a soy milk on the side. Luckily I don’t have any food intolerances, I am just trying to eat better, more in conscience ! Anyway, the full experience was great and I know how to act if I decide to go back for an other night !

A beautiful place BUT they need handrails!!! We stayed in room 31- nice room (wish we could see the water through the trees). ||Serious steps, straight down- 2 flights.|No ADA here- handrails a necessity.||We booked last minute, so not options.||I don’t think they realize what a hazard the steps can be for folks- for all, please invest in hand rails!

The best boutique hotel in Martinique. The rooms with a pool are absolutely beautiful, we have stayed here twice and both rooms we have been at have been amazing. The food in their restaurant is superb. This is a hotel to chill and relax in your room - do not expect speedy room service, though. This is a boutique hotel, so no bell boys, but the ladies at reception are helpful with your bags if you need. Definitely not wheelchair accessible and I do not think it is ideal for children. Perfect for couples, and will definitely keep staying here every time we are in Martinique.

The hotel, service and the food (THE FOOD!) was superb. Getting to the hotel was a bit of an adventure, given the roads leading up to it were steep, rocky and narrow. However, the property sits at a beautiful point with a stunning view of the bay. The food -- we have breakfast, lunch and dinner -- was excellent. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the meals were -- thoughtfullly put together, sustainable, and fresh.

It’s worth the bumpy ride to come here. This place is amazing. ||The view is stunning and the ocean breezes are instantly present anywhere on the hilltop location. The property is beautifully and painstakingly maintained — particularly hard to find in Martinique. Many places show photo enhanced pictures - not the case here. ||The gastronomic prix fixe menu is fabulous and was repeatedly (x4) a success. Wine choices, thought limited, are all very good (it’s France after all!). Even the breakfast verges on the gastronomic with local fruit and hooves made from local produce. ||We were supposed to stay for three nights and we ended up staying for seven. Maybe that says it all.

Beautiful hotel on a hill overlooking the bay. Restaurant setting and gardens are excellent and a great place to relax. |negatives, one would be the bathroom which was looking tired and very little water pressure in the shower and there isn’t any parking that doesn’t require going up a very steep incline with the cases! There is one handicapped parking space close to the reception though

We just stayed there for a week and we had a wonderful stay. ||Beautiful location and decor as well as an accommodating & pleasant staff. ||||The Breakfast was amazing. Full Breakfast w good coffee and nice selection of Fruits/Yogurt/pastries and eggs. We liked the dinner but the breakfast really shines. Dinner is somewhat limited and fairly expensive. I would explore other restaurants as the food in Martinique is excellent. Would also be nice if they had snacks and lunch/lighter menu since it is pretty secluded there and not easy to get a snack. ||||We had one of the smaller rooms without a private pool but we still loved our room. The pool that is for all is quite nice and a gorgeous view. Only negative about room was bathroom was constantly soaked from open shower. It a design flaw and should be fixed. ||||Had a great trip and will be back.

Great place to start our postponed vacation after the COVID Pandamic. We had high expectations but were very impressed with the hospitality and layout of Plein Soleil! We had our own private pool - which was very welcome after a long trip. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant 2 nights and were both times very satisfied with the food, the wine and the service.
