As a lover of literature, We spent 5 glorious nights! We had the Hemingway room, which was the private penthouse. Room was quaint and comfortable. What a view of the bay and was absolutely perfect. The hotel is charming; historical; warm; literary bon mots for sure. It is on a quiet street one block AWAY from hustle and bustle restaurants, but still quiet. Cats and kittens abound everywhere. Literally, 5 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and all the Sultanahmet attractions and interest. Yes, the airport transfers were easy and highly recommend. || Eren, our host and greeter, couldn't have been more welcoming, charming and an absolute hoot of energy and information. We became friends instantly. The breakfast was exquisite, with Arif our waiter, just an absolute gentlemen with great conversation, jokes and kindness. The food was spectacular, and rest of staff were friendly, helpful (they always got me a cappuccino before they opened). My wife found the laundromat across the street and had our clothes done in a few hours. ||The only drawback, and this is just part of staying in the neighborhood, are the seagulls. They fly and squak and crow on the rooftops, but honestly. you get use to it and it didn't prevent any sleep. ||The Hotel and staff deserve the Pulitzer Prize for Hotel Poetry!
