Hotel Polustrovo

the stay was great, room was lovely with good mattresses. Not all staff was fluent in English, but with a translation app more than willing to help. The queen sized bed were two small beds joined together.

It's near a tram and bus stop, convenient to walk by foot The breakfast had many options, especially Grechka, that I like a lot. The best was comfortable, the room large enough. I slept straight away. Also good for working a bit, with the desk. Clean, nothing to say Receptionists were friendly. As it was my first day in Saint Petersburg from abroad, they also kept the passport for a while, and did the mandatory registration to the municipality. They gave me the registration receipt when they gave me the passport back. All fine. I asked them if they could keep the luggage as I arrived a bit earlier, and they offered to give me already a room, since it was ready already

I very recently stayed in hotel Polustrovo at Saint petersburg. ||||I liked this hotel very much. The connectivity to city centre from bus and cab is very good.  The complimentary breakfast served is excellent and has many varieties.  The location is good considering there are many shops nearby.  ||||But the best shall be reserved for the staff and manager of the hotel.  They are very friendly,  approachable and helpful in every way.  This review will be incomplete without naming them in actual.  Ms Alexandra, Ms Yana, Ms Liza, Ms Irina,  Ms Elina , Ms kate, Mr Nikita , Ms Anna and led very ably by manager Ms Maria were truly excellent during my stay in this hotel.  The housekeeping staff and all the other staff are very responsible in their duties.  ||I hope that the hotel continue the good work in many more years to come!  ||||||||Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Not worth the cost. Rooms are too small. There was no hot water available and on request they showed a notice they have put up on their reception about faulty boilers. Drinking water not available, they offered 300ml bottle for 210 rubles. Location is away from the city, but buses has good connectivity. There are supermarkets around the hotel.

This hotel does not pull 3 stars. Cleaning is done only on demand, the refrigerator in the room does not work, the door does not close. Awful system with breakfast - the dishes on the menu can only be ordered from 11am, and until that time only their set of dishes for $ 7. Also unpleasant was the presence of the Chinese, who settled and evicted continuously. And in the morning they went very noisily for breakfast and on their excursions, so it was impossible to sleep from 7-8 in the morning. But there is good - it's a free bike rental, on bail of $ 45. Very strange laundry - you need to pay only $ 1.5 to let you into the room and you yourself loaded the clothes, put the detergent and started the washing machine. And then you pulled out, dried and ironed your clothes.

The hotel was ok. The breakfast was good though spread was little. The rooms were ok but a/c was missing in the room which made it quite uncomfortable for all. No tea / coffee maker in the room. For hot water we need to take it from the common dispenser.

Got much more I could expect for less money.||Clean, renewed hotel. Good for traveling by car, on backyard own parking. Can't say anything about breakfast, we did not took it. But definitely next time we will stop there again.
