The staff is so friendly and hospitable. Amazing location and great free breakfast. We stayed for 3 days and had the best time. Nice cold AC in the rooms too. Can’t wait to come back!!

Our favorite part is the delicious breakfast. The rooms could use some maintenance. For example the A/C, it cooled the room but didn’t seem fresh like the one in the lobby. Beds could be a bit higher quality as well.

We stayed a week from 23rd January. The location is awesome being only one block from the Malecon. The place is spotless. Victor at reception was very accommodating when we asked to move to an inside room as we had a very noisy first night. He made no issue whatsoever! The cooked to order breakfast on the top floor was delicious with a great choice. Sorvanna who looked after our room was always cheerful & polite. The only thing we didn’t have was a pool so we just went over the road to Coexistence restaurant & bar was able to use their beautiful pool if you spent $300. Happy hour was 2-7pm. ||We will definitely be coming back again as for this price point hotel they really are doing an amazing job. Thank you 🇨🇦

Great location, close to malecon, shops, food. Safe and mostly quiet. Staff was nice. Rooftop, gym alot smaller than you think. kept VERY clean! Rooms need a bit more light, beds are a bit stiff, but good fluffy pillows. Water pressure in shower could be stronger. I enjoyed breakfast. It is not buffet style, it's service. Minimal choices but something for everyone and the best omelletes I've ever had! Overall a good choice if your looking for clean, quiet, basic accommodations. I would stay again. Oh, very small 2 person elevator, but they have an elevator.

Steps from the Malecon and the Zona Romantica, this small (approx 30 room) hotel provides scrupulously clean facilities and a full complimentary breakfast made to order, with coffee and juice, a fruit plate, eggs and meat, and Mexican specialties on order. You can spend a lovely time on the rooftop patio in loungers and chairs, overlooking the skyline and the view up the hill towards the Basilica. A four rating because the windows are sealed.

Nice little hotel. Great location. Unfortunately I was eaten alive by bedbugs. It is now one week later I’m in California and I am still covered in dozens of extremely itchy bedbug bites. I wasn’t going to comment on this because it is a nice little hotel in a good location but what really got me was on the way out. The guy at the front door tried to charge me an extra 2500 pesos claiming I’ve been there for four nights. We were there for three nights and I paid three nights in cash total they tried to rip me off for the fourth night. It wasn’t an accident. And as I said a week later, I am still scratching and covered in bed bug bites. I would never stay here again.

Right by the river. Close to the market. Not far from the Malicon. Close to the Zona Romantica. A few min walk to the cathedral and city square. Great Breakfast served on the 4th floor . Nice clean rooms. Frig in room. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

Great hotel. Stayed here for three days following time in Nuevo Vallarta. Excellent location, we walked everywhere. Room was spotless. Staff were incredibly helpful. A big shoutout to Victor on the front desk. After one day we were thinking of checking out. Victor solved our issue, moved us to a quiet inside room w/2 king beds. We found him to be, in his own quiet way, a wonderful host. Breakfast for us was a simple but well prepared omlette. Thank you Victor. And yes...we will be returning to Hotel Porto Allegro. Excellent value for money in all respects.
