Spectacular genuine place. Top notch location, service and the restaurant is probably the best in town. Coffee is from the owners family and also probably my favourite in town

Great place to stay while in Coatepec. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the restaurant had very good traditional food. The hotel is very centric so you can walk to most restaurants and cafés.

I spent 1 night here , this hotel was once the former home of a coffee baron , the hotel has many personal touches , there was a stuffed lion outside my bedroom. The room was very spacious , clean , an enormous comfortable bed , good WiFi signal & terrific shower. There is a lovely court yard with a fountain , a nice place to have a drink. I had an evening meal which was very nice. I enjoyed my stay here & would recommend.

Very tastefully decorated and an efficient staff make this a fine place. Some of the suites are really grand but be aware that the smaller rooms are very average. Nothing horrible but when you consider the prices, you have to wonder what you're getting. A very little snooping will find you comparable rooms at a fraction of the price. ||Continental breakfast is included but there are countless great places within walking distance for an incredible meal. The hotel was pretty full when we were there and the service was way off. Maybe it's better when it's slower. But I'd suggest skipping out altogether. ||Common areas are beautiful and the tromp l'oiel painting is excellent. ||I'd only come back if the prices drop or I was the guest of an insanely rich person who likes to waste money.

No excuse to miss this one. Now, one must forgive the rather old electrical and plumbing. I wish they had better contacts and switches. Same goes for the shower and toilet, it is not like the best for saving water. My bath room was a particular challenge to get in and out of it as the entrance is blocked by the wc. Rooms are great, so the mattress. The restaurant is excellent though the service is a bit provincial.

Great location, leave your car and walk. I stayed at the "San Francisco" room and it was conveniently hidden, was very quiet, you can feel roominess, perhaps need more illumination, at least for me. Restaurant was delicious and portion was enough, bread was delicious, as well as capuchinos, best part is the decoration. Staff was great! Seat at the tables at the courtyard and enjoy a coffee, nice garden with a fountain and hear the bells from church at the next corner.

A piece of 19th century history this beautifully renovated hotel has countless original details, this gem is located in Central Coatepec, walking distance to a multitude of coffee shops, restaurants and boutique stores. My room was huge, comfortable and very clean. It's a very relaxing place; on my travels I stay in many hotels this is near perfect, it's not new so don't expect that, but appreciate it's high attention to detail.

This hotel is a converted hacienda. The facilities semm to have seen better days, and the room rates reflect it's reputation more than it's current condition. However, the staff is top-notch, and you'll want for nothing in terms of service. From the chamber maids, to the desk clerks, to the manager, all were very helpful and courteous. The was a wedding one day while we were there, that was the only commotion we experienced. The rest of our 10 day stay was peaceful and relaxing. Value for money is about the only reason I might look somewhere else on my next visit to Coatepec.

Yelp
It's one of the best hacienda hotels in Mexico and the prices are not expensive at all if you consider everything included. The pool is climate controlled. The restaurant has a discount for guests and the food is delicious. The rooms are way too comfortable.
