Just ended a 7 night stay at this absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms were sparkling clean, the staff extremely friendly/attentive and the location within walking distance to all Antigua shopping and restaurants. We ate three times at the wonderful restaurant located conveniently on the premises and had delicious meals each time. I highly recommend the chicken (hen) soup which is one of our family favorites. Looking forward to returning soon.

We had lunch here. The service is fantastic, the courtyard views absolutely beautiful, the handmade tortillas and Guatemalan food, incredible. Definitely would go back and recommend. We had agua de Jamaica, local beer, pepian which is a local kind of mole and grilled chicken. We saw two tables celebrating birthdays and all the staff came and singed and even brought a small piñata for the person celebrating.

I think this place is an excellent value if you can look past the dated fixtures/appliances (think 1990s). Incredibly central and you can feel the building’s history — fell in love with the wood beams, the azulejos, the courtyards. I would skip the restaurant; they put a huge margin on the food, although perhaps that helps cover the live music.

The staff was great! The hotel is in a perfect location. Parking is across the street and the staff was always available to unlock the area where the cars are parked. The staff and food at the restaurant - all first class. Cleanliness also first class. The entire hotel area, gardens and restaurant - all a feast for the senses. I would stay there again.

Very quaint. A restaurant that keeps an ambience that makes sense with a colonial city. The doors have old fashioned keys. The service is extremely friendly and professional. There is a restaurant in the premises with original and excellent traditional Guatemalan food in Antigua Guatemala.

Service was great! Very close to El Arco and many many other sites. The food was good but a little pricey. The evening nightly entertainment was so fun and was well worth it.

Courtyard is pretty. We found our room to be very basic ( no charm); thought the bed was comfortable & room clean. Our room had cheap carpeting ( some rooms have title floors). Not enough towels & those we had were quite thin & no washcloths. They had those huge old fashioned keys that were really difficult to use ( suggest they change to something more modern & easier ). We were with a group & had dinner which was ok; nothing special. Unfortunately the entertainment was in another room which was a shame. They offer filtered water throughout hotel & two bottles in room which was nice. Best part: Great location! We only stayed for one night which was enough.
