I rarely leave a review. This place deserves an exception that I am writing it from the taxi on the way out. One of the best experiences I have ever had. The entire staff is extremely attentive, responsive and courteous. The premises are beautiful and the rooms are clean. The location is unbeatable if you want to be in the middle of all the action.

Posada Don Rodrigo is a wonderful place to stay in Antigua. The architecture is beautiful and full of character, with peaceful gardens that make the whole property feel calm and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The overall vibe is relaxed and laid back, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. Meals were excellent, and the location is ideal... close enough to walk everywhere while still feeling like a quiet retreat.

This hotel feels like you traveled back in time! The charming rooms and old school door keys make you feel like you're part of a royal family. The breakfast here was also delicious. The location is so close to all the sights you want to see and I couldn't recommend this place more!

It’s a beautiful, charming hotel very well located. The staff is super nice and attentive. The rooms though need updating- more outlets, take off old carpet and shower accessories to put soap, towels, shampoo etc.

We just had breakfast, but didn’t stay at the hotel. This has to be one of the best breakfasts in Antigua. Great food, great service, handmade tortillas, marimba og beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!

Came only to the restaurant to have dinner. The food was delicious. Some Marimba was played and a Moros dance was taking place. We enjoyed it very much. Pricey but worth it.

I'm usually "meh" about hotels - I just sleep there and keep moving. But I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here. I spent 5 days here and actually stayed inside the hotel property a lot. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and looked into the gardens. It was very quiet, the restaurant was convenient and good, they held my luggage for me, and every single person I encountered was soooo kind and smiling. Loved the artwork there so much and purchased 2 pieces for myself. Not to mention, it is conveniently located. I will most definitely stay here again.
