Loreto, Mexico Travel Guide

"Handpainted tiles adorn the bathrooms and courtyards are filled with antique, handmade furnishings in a building designed to reflect the historic character of downtown. Modern touches include a rooftop pool and terrace, and the property houses one of the town’s best restaurants in a plaza-facing dining room with al fresco seating." - Carley Rojas Avila Carley Rojas Avila Carley Rojas Avila is a bilingual travel writer, editor, and content marketer. We had a 5 star experience at Hotel Posada de las Flores. When we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional care. We got a tour of the property and then were taken back to our room. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious the room was. I loved the old Mexican style decor, it was very charming. The hotel provided complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, which to me was above and beyond. They have stalked refrigerators on the property where you can get a beer for just $2.50. The room had complimentary coffee and an espresso maker. There is a rooftop deck that overlooks the water, the views are incredible. Each morning you are treated to a delicious complimentary breakfast of fruits, granola, yogurt, and a cooked meal. The staff was very friendly, more than accommodating, and very knowledgeable. While there are no amenities, they do allow you to use the amenities for free over at La Concha Beach club. We will definitely be back to stay!

We have had a wonderful week at Posada DeLas Flores. We had a2 story room with a private balcony to watch the sunsets. The hotel supplies non alcoholic drinks and snacks free, and they have alcohol available that you note you are taking and pay for when you check out. The hotel also has a lovely covered terrace to enjoy as well. Our stay included breakfast. The hotel is conveniently location near the end of the malecon with a great view of the beach, but a like ways down from the noisy restaurants. They do not have parking but there is free parking on all the streets around the hotel and we had little difficulty finding spots to park. Staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay and a lovely boutique hotel in La Paz.

We stayed at La Posada de Las Flores for a week. The rooms are comfortable, and decorated with good art. The hotel is located on the quiet end of the Malecon. The staff, particularly Cristian, was exceptional. Included breakfasts are prepared by a chef...no buffet! The Italian restaurant on site was superb! We would definitely return to Posada de Las Flores!

A quiet, small, and authentic boutique hotel with mexican flair and a lovely backyard full of flowers and palm trees, right on the famous promenade Malecon. The breakfast offered a different dish every day and it was always delicious! Thank you, Lupita, for making our mornings so special with your kindness and attentiveness, and Christian, for always being so helpful whenever we had a request. Many Greetings! Popescu Family

We stayed at Posada de las Flores La Paz in late May through early June 2025, and it was truly a memorable experience. This charming boutique hotel is not only beautifully designed, but also offers outstanding service.||A special thank you to Laura, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She not only helped us to our room, but also found an upgraded room and moved all of our suitcases for us while we were on an excursion.||The ambiance of the hotel is warm, elegant, and authentically Mexican with lovely details throughout. It’s a perfect spot for couples looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.||Also, don’t miss the Italian restaurant upstairs — the food was excellent and made for a perfect evening just steps from our room.||Highly recommend this gem in La Paz. We would absolutely stay here again!

A real discovery on the Malecon. Not much from the outside but beautiful within. Notable landscape and the decor of the rooms; I had the basic one, and imagine the higher categories more impressive. Multiple shared spaces indoor and outdoor with sea view. Breakfast included, which I could only try once, but very good. Highly recommend and worth the price.

This hotel was quaint and very nice with outstanding views from the top veranda. Far enough away from the noisy and busy bar and restaurant area of the Malecon that made this the perfect boutique hotel for us. Yet, right on the Malecon with clear views of the bay. The outside areas were beautifully decorated and the Bougainvillea was in full bloom. They served a very nice breakfast which was included. Coffee, water and soft drinks were gratis. Our room was very comfortable with a king bed, fridge, snacks, a safe and great water pressure. This hotel has two awesome restaurants on property, a pizza place and a 4-star Italian restaurant, both of which were fantastic. the wait staff spoke English and were great. Laura was always available to answer any questions or concerns or to help us in any way. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in La Paz.
