I stayed there for two nights, and the room was pretty nice and had a comfy and big bed. My gf and me weren't ready for breakfast time, but the staff arranged us a nice meal. The place was filled with plants which I liked pretty much. The only issue that I found was that the bathroom's walls were a bit damp. The place had no air conditioner, but the ventilator that they had worked pretty well and Cali's heat wasn't an issue. It's easy to arrive, and get out, pretty much in Cali's downtown and near from a lot of places like "Las Gatas del Río", "La Ermita" and "La Merced". The staff can help you to get a taxi to do a trip from the hotel to the "Cristo Rey" and the "Sebastian de Belalcazar" Statue and back to the hotel, which is pretty convenient, since "Cristo Rey" is pretty far away if you get there walking.

This was a neat experience. The family who runs it is delightful (little English, though), and the building is truly a blast from the past and centrally located. I was there for work, and no AC was a problem for me. Other than that, it was wonderful. The open "lobby" courtyard was stunning, breakfast was home cooked, and tea was freshly brewed and delivered. Wonderful, wonderful.

Nice two storied boutique hotel , matches with the small picturesqe town of villa de leyva . Central courtyard has garden with flowers bushes in large earthen pots,&on windowsills. Rooms small —our room rather dark but enough space for two beds ,bathroom was alright , one gets an idea how residents lived once and probably live now. ||Breakfast served fresh juice, delicious arepa ,omelettes cheese ,fruits coffee etc . Inside the town and within walking distance is the main square and cobble stoned narrow paths . Several restaurants nearby within two three minutes walks, serving hot dishes in affordable prices. during our stay for two nights some music festival was going on and traders filled their shops with Panama hats , food items , toys ,potteries and other staffs, Hotel staffs r friendly many of them students. Hotel library with many books , billiard table , good sitting areas & interesting photographs of Pancho Villa .we enjoyed our stay. There is also an oratory .

Nice hotel in the heart of San Antonio area with nearby restaurants and museums. Our room was on the street side, so was a little noisy. Not much hot water, but the saving factor was the wonderful staff and owner Gabriel who made us feel welcome in Cali. Lovely people who made our stay memorable - and isn't that one of the reasons we travel??

The only reason this did not get a five star is that you can hear some road noise (I am very noise sensitive), including sirens (only once in a while). Other than that, very nice, wonderful staff, quite helpful, and a great place to stay. Be wary, you only get about five minutes of hot water in the shower! I basically did a "sailors shower" (if you know what that is). However, it is in a lovely area, and quite a nice place to stay, at a great price.

The best and nicest people in town! We could even use a room for free for a day to store our maletas because we had to check out but our flight was in the evening and we wanted to go to the aqua park! They were very helpfull and flexible. Off course we paid for the room :) But the service was excelent!

the wonderful hostess and the entire staff were charming and attentive.||great location near iglesia de la merced, plaza de caycedo, and museo del oro.||no air-conditioning but a strong fan, thick adobe walls, and high ceiling made the room quite acceptable. room was spacious, with table and chairs, stuffed armchair, armoire, and two nightstands.||super-good breakfasts (and good restaurant recommendations from Javier, too)
