I stay here every year. Apart from the outside noise of the city out is a nice quiet stay.

The room was simple but sufficient and clean. The atmosphere around the hotel was great. Very clean and interesting with plants, many tables covered in a variety of Guatemalan fabrics. The view from the rooftop was spectacular. The second floor terrace had lots of space for a group to work, exercise or just hang out. The breakfast at Fernando’s was excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There are many restaurants within a couple of blocks.

Great hotel. The service was top notch. The facility is good. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfy and supportive. Lot of lights and towels. Bathroom was nice. Great place to stay. The restaurant next door has amazing breakfast. I recommend the Ferdinand Especial.

Originally we were suppose to stay only 2 nights but extended to 3 nights with no hassle. I really liked the location because the whole town is very walkable (wear tennis shoes) with a ton of restaurants close by. The room was comfortable and we always felt very safe. It is cool in the mornings ( most place in Guatemala have no heat) so the extra blanket was appreciated. They have purified water to fill up water bottles and individual safety deposit boxes for valuables. The rooftop terrace had really good views of the volcanos and iglesia de La Merced. One night we even sat up on the roof and looked at the lights of the town. Breakfast is next door at Fernando’s Kaffee which is good and convenient. Overall a great stay with our thanks to Gerlinda and Carlos!

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s got the essentials. Bathrooms can be a little tight for some, but I’ve become used to the small bathrooms in the antigua hotels. The rooftop is stunning here. Unfortunately they lock the gates for the rooftop after 9-10pm. I disagree with the rule. There should be a quiet rule after 10pm for the rooftop (which there is) and after 1 strike (for being too loud) you should be asked to leave the rooftop.

Stayed here both at the beginning and ending of my 2 week trip --great location, only 5 minutes walk to the arch. Well priced, simple but adequate rooms with great staff. All desk staff spoke English and were very helpful in planing my trip and daily activities. I recommend their private car airport service--for a couple it's not much more than the shuttles and way less hassle. I recommend either the back patio rooms or 3rd floor rooms

My favorite place to stay in Antigua. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The unique but basic rooms have what you need, including reliable hot water. Nice rooftop patio. Close to a variety of restaurants. Recommend earplugs at night.

This is a small place with 5 private rooms. They share 3 bathrooms in the courtyard. This is a budget place but it’s clean and decently comfortable. During the day, it was a little warm in the room and there was no fan so I just left my door open. There is only a small window so no ventilation. WiFi was decent and breakfast (I ordered the local: eggs, toast, beans, platano) was included. Paid $17/night. The location is great near most of the sights. I didn’t hear street noise in my room at night but I could faintly hear my neighbor talking/snoring in their room. So it’s not fancy but it’s a good budget place.
