We stayed at Posada Lily March 2017 for 10 wonderful days. We really enjoyed this place. ||||Posada Lily is a small family hotel, with a great staff. Suite #21 was exactly what we were looking for on our 11th trip to Puerto Vallarta. A shout out to vallartainfo.com for the recommendation. ||||We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 PM walked up the flight of stairs to the office, where we were pleasantly greeted, quickly checked in and shown to our room. The 5th floor “top” some 80 steps up from the ground. There is no elevator, so you can plan on burning off some of those food & beverage calories. :) ||||The suite has two full beds, a bathroom which is a combination shower, toilet, sink, and one end of the room is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave and range. A couple of pans, plates, silverware, cups and a blender. The other end of the room has a large flat screen TV which we chose not to use often and some the best WiFi we have ever had in PV. A great little balcony with a view of the Ocean, Mountains and the corner of Olas Altas & Basilio Badillo topped it off. ||||Excellent maid service, a very clean and comfy room every day. These ladies do a wonderful job please take care of them. ||||There is a court yard on the 5th floor that is used often and can get a bit nosy, it was not a big deal for us and if you are a frequent traveler to the South Side area you already know it can get loud. So bring ear plugs or drink more tequila or both. ||||A big thank to Carlos and his team for a wonderful stay. ||||Jason & Cristal||||Helpful or maybe not so helpful notes:||||-The Lily is a cash only place, so you won’t be charging to your credit card. There is an ATM right around the corner. ||||-There is no pool but the Ocean is less than 80 steps away.||||-Mexican AC “fan” which does a pretty good job as a white noise machine too. ||||-There are interior and exterior rooms on many floors, just ask to see a couple of them.||||-In this general area of PV light sleepers should bring earplugs and a night mask. ||||-Travel light. We did 10 days with our carryon suitcases. We did bring our small soft golf cooler which doubled as my second carryon and kept my cervezas cold on the beach. Speaking of the beach yes the shrimp (camaron) and fish (pescado) on a stick are a great lunch.||||-This Hotel is not for everyone, but it was perfect for us. One of the best little 2 Star 5 Star hotels.||||-If you are in the area check it out. You can look around for free on days that end with y. ||||-It’s located in the South Side, on the corner of Olas Altas and Basilio Badillo two of the busiest streets around here. Los Muertos Beach and the Malecón are out the other side. Prepare yourself accordingly.||||-Like my mother always said matters go a long ways. Please (Por favor); Thank you (Gracias); Good morning (Buenos dias); Good afternoon (Buenas tardes); Good evening (Buena noches); Very well (Muy bien)||||-There are too many good restaurants, coffee shops and bars to mention within walking distance, let’s just say if you go hungry or thirsty it’s your own fault. A couple of notables La Carreta which is on the beach, Joe Jack’s Fish Shack, Las Penitas Bar & Grill and then Los Muertos Brewing owned by a fellow Utahn. Go Utes!
