Hotel Posada Los Bucaros

While the rooms at the property are small they are clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. I booked a deep tissue massage at the spa during my stay and obtained immediate relief from muscle and joint pain. I really enjoyed my stay.

The window is taped with plastic (basically no windows). The room is small. The shower room is dirty. Feels like dirty everywhere. The room provides a ceiling fan only. But the location is great.

Walls are extremely thin in the old hotel and so be prepared to be woken up by the sound of neighbours talking, you can hear everything. It seems all rooms are similar in this way. It’s a shame as staff are very friendly and accommodating and the hotel courtyard and rooms are quite charming.

Great location by intripid we stayed extra days. Accessible walk to everything in town. Comfy bed and cosy area. Great coffee just down the road which serves great food as well.

This was a lovely hotel with great showers and amenities. Located quite near the main square with plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby.

Great location, clean rooms. But forget sleep after 5.30 am. The staff start talking and banging around in the kitchen then. The walls are paper thin. I can clearly hear everything going on in the next room. Bring ear plugs!

Nice little hotel in Antigua! You really get the vibe of Spanish-style architecture. Close to the busy downtown area off the cobbled streets that are so quintessential Antigua.||We got in late and they had rooms for our reservation. The first time we were there, the room was large and adequate for two of us. The second time, the rooms were tiny. (Rooms 3 and 4 are small. Didn’t look into others.) But, the furnishings are clean, each has its own bathroom with amenities and the floors are clean. If you’re only using the room to sleep after a day of site-seeing, then its fine.||The staff is friendly and accommodating. The service is good. The courtyard charming and cool. I recommend this quaint hotel.

I had 2 rooms here. The first room was to the right when first walked in and I did not love this room, it had two twin beds, which was fine but I could not sleep at night as I could everyone in other rooms. Then I had a room to the left when you first walk in, and this part of the hotel is beautiful! The hammocks, the fountain, the cute seating area. I really fell in love with the layout of this part of the hotel. The service from everyone was incredible, especially Kevin and his manager as I dealt with them the most. They were so friendly and gave amazing recommendations of how to spend your days. The location of the hotel is the absolute best for your stay in Antigua. I will definitely be back!
