Hotel Post Bezau (Bezau, Vorarlberg) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the upper reaches of Austria’s Bregenz Forest, not far from the Swiss border, Hotel Post Bezau has been painstakingly perfecting their wellness-centered hospitality concept for some time now. Equal parts mountain resort, retreat, and boutique, it places a strong emphasis on detox and natural restoration, offering house-pressed juices and an impressive array of fitness and spa facilities. Blonde wood and gorgeous mountain views define the rooms, which also boast upscale bath amenities, fresh flowers, and plush linens." - Tablet Hotels

A mixed experience with a bitter aftertaste Overall the house and location are lovely. As is the kitchen and the very friendly staff associated with it. The Post Bezau cuisine was excellent. It is odd perhaps that water is free all day and then at dinner one is charged 4,50 for the same bottle, but that is a minor point. 5/5 The rooms are sparse but in terms of design and comfort alright. My room was a little dirty with spiderwebs in almost every corner, that stayed there over the duration of my stay, and a hair in the bathroom upon arrival. The bathrooms are a little tired. The bin was broken, the sanitary bag dispenser broken, the haidryer low quality, but all of that was alright. Bath and foot bath salts are provided once and not filled up again during your stay. 3/5. The spa area is nice with a very different saunas. On my first day the sauna infusion that was scheduled was cancelled but this wasn’t communicated. The next day the scheduled steam bath salt scrub was late, but aside from that fine. 4/5 The Susanne Kaufmann Spa which should be the highlight was deeply disappointing. Upon an initially difficult booking process with wrong emails sent to me and misunderstandings with my requests, I then booked three treatments. After the first treatment the therapist told me that I probably felt he couldn’t really perform very well today because he had been in so much pain. I requested to be booked to someone else for the next treatment and had a good massage. The last treatment should have been a facial but wasn’t- a double cleanse and a mask (as well as an unrequested and incorrect diagnosis of couperose) is not the kind of facial I had requested. I terminated and communicated my displeasure upon which the spa manager kindly gave me some samples of the products to take up to my room and try in lieu of the facial I had actually wanted. I asked if I should return the testers before leaving, but was told to just leave them in the room. So I did. I have now been contacted twice that the products cannot be found and there seems to be an inherent accusation that I have taken them. I am outraged frankly. Had I known this could happen, I would have left them with reception in order to prevent this. All in all, 0/5. Not what one would expect in a seemingly first class spa. Very disappointing.

My girlfriend and I stayed in suite 304 from 3 Jan to 6 Jan 2024. We arrived home (Switzerland)1 hour ago and I wanted to write a review as soon as possible. I honestly cannot think of a hotel that I've stayed in that offers such great service, facilities and staff that go above and beyond. The food is amazing, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are soooo friendly. We opted to have a 'daily changing' menu and it was incredible and definitely good value. We can't wait to return. Thank you so much to all you wonderful people that make Hotel Post Bezau such a pleasure to stay at and our soul's sing out loud. See you all soon

While the hotel has a fabulous infrastructure worthy of a 4star hotel, whoever was responsible to build the new “wing” must have built for the first time . There is absolutely 0 and I mean zero sound insulation. You can hear a person in the shower or flushing the toilet one room above or besides you . What a shame !

I’m appalled by the good reviews. I live in asia and ordered 300$+ worth of skincare products including a moisturiser , toner and milk cleanser . I have to admit while it made my skin soft it turned my red absolutely red as a tomato after an hour. At first I thought it’s due to the heat until my friend pointed out that my face looks pinkish and reddish and asked if I was bitten by a mosquito. I was flushed and I am usually not allergic to any skincare products . I stopped using the products and washed my face with only cold water for a couple of days and then only my skin was back to normal. Products are not suitable for hot or very humid cities or climate. The reviews are probably fake or paid because none of the products actually work as mentioned in the comments. Such a waste.

We been at Post Bezau for 4 days / 3 nights!! The rooms are great, the service is great too, the staff is very nice and super friendly, the SPA just wow and the kitchen - a dream! We felt home from home and were able to recover very well! The hotel offered us a shuttle service for some euro to pick us up at Zürich Airport. Great service - A car is not really needed here. Quiet hotel atmosphere - spotless and beautiful! Definitely Professionally managed - This place left nothing to be desired for our needs. We come back, asap!

This is a wonderful resort and spa, in a delightful corner of Austria! The food is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the common areas are beautiful, and the staff are friendly, professional, and helpful (special thanks to Helga, Stephanie, and all of the restaurant personnel). The spa is fully equipped with various saunas and pools and a steam-room, and offers services such as massages (ask for Pavol, the very effective masseuse), facials, etc. The town of Bezau is also very charming, with many little shops and pleasant walks. It is only a short walk from the hotel to a cable car that takes you to the top of a mountain from which you can see the Bodensee and Germany and Switzerland, as well as hike among bell-wearing alpine cows. (The hotel gives you a guest card that grants access to the lift as well as to the bus to Bregenz.) We had a memorable week at the Post -- I would love to return!

Just got back from my wonderful 3 day Holistic Beauty Retreat at Hotel Post Bezau and could not recommend it enough! I have been a fan of Susanne Kaufmann for a while and it was a dream to visit the hotel and experience not only the treatments but the locally sourced cuisine in a beautiful setting in Austria. Everything was perfectly organised by the Hotel Team in terms of scheduling my treatments and activities and organising my transport to the hotel. The retreats have a special detox menu carefully put together and I even had my own table in the restaurant during my stay. The restaurant staff were very attentive and took the time to explain the menu and check I was happy with it. I stayed in the Detox Sleep room which was stocked with Susanne Kaufmann products (which all rooms are I believe) and my room overlooked the mountains. I look forward to returning soon and would recommend it to anyone looking to have an escape and reset from a busy city life while enjoying amazing spa facilities and Susanne Kaufmann treatments!
