Hotel Postgaarden

Restaurant closed, bar closed, cafe closed. Shabby looking outside- very run down. No towels in room but no-one to ask. Main doors not open during entire stay and only saw one member of staff there, but only for about an hour in the mornings. Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. A toaster but no bread, a few slices of cheese and ham, and some very old muesli (the bakery down the road was lovely though). Filthy shower curtains. Phone number to call if you needed assistance didn't work. Genuinely thought the hotel had closed down as we arrived. We left a day early, and had we not have needed to stay for a wedding, we would have found somewhere else to stay straight away.

Pretty good Christmas lunch plate, friendly service and nice location. Probably one of the only decent places in Sorø.

Nice atmosphere, quality food. The service was amazing as well.

Vi var her på en deal og synes at vi fik fuld valuta for pengene. Værelserne er charmerende, René og pæne. Der er en hyggelig gårdhave hvor man kan nyde sin kaffe og kage. Vi fik en dejlig 6 retters menu vil ikke kalde det gourmet, men det var veltillavet. Betjeningen var venlig og imødekommende. Specielt damen der stod for morgenmaden. Beliggenheden er god lige på gågaden og 5 min til den smukke sø.

To døgn mrd 4.retters meny første.dag. Dejligt stort værelse. Maden virkelig god og velsmagende. Udmærket morgenarrangement. Flink og venlig betjening. Vi vil gerne benytte Hotel Postgården en amden gang. Charmerende ældre lokaler, der dog kunne fortjene et eftersyn

As an old post office/farm this place has a lot of charm. The is a seasoned couple running this place. In Danish you call them Kromand and Kromutter. The backyard is really nice and has a wine orchard that makes it really nice to sit in at summer time. I got to spend the night here as well and the room was really fun, you can see that the place is old and not one thing is even, so it really gives the feeling of you staying at an old post office.
