This is one of the worst hotels I have EVER seen.|There is no staff. There is no restaurant - we were told we had to order food a day in advance but there is no menu (!?) We asked for breakfast which consisted of hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham and bread for 19euro!!!! The TVs do not work. The phones do not work. The place is filthy. The shower tray and sink filled with water and did not drain away. There is no room service. The photos are a complete lie and must have been taken a long while ago. The garden is overgrown and not accessible. |PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. We booked for 3 nights and left after 1 without a refund. Truly truly awful!!

A nice looking hotel, with management that likes scamming people! I can't express all of my emotions to the hotel. I booked it over Booking.com. When I came they checked me in, forgot to give me my ID back, but not a big problem we solved it in a few mins. The biggest disappointment was that they forgot to give me the key for the outside door that leads to the hotel, when I came in the evening I could not access the hotel. I tried knocking, calling, calling Booking.com, looking through windows... nothing. I had to book another hotel and sleep there, and then I came in the morning to pick my belongings. Furthermore, I immediately requested the money back, they wrote my phone number and told me that manager will call. He did call soon enough, asked me not to give any bad reviews, that they are sorry, he told he will refund me and nothing. I kept sending reminders every 2 weeks, reached to Booking.com support and this hotel was just delaying, ignoring, making up things. So they can't even keep their own word! I don't understand how they claim themselves a luxury hotel, but act like phone scammers.

A little out of the centre-of-town but not a bad neighbourhood. The room we stayed in was spacious with some outside space. Those were the positive elements of our stay. It seems as if it could have been a nice palce to stay at one point but it is being run on a shoestring now. The reception is only staffed during the day by one person. Our room was not cleaned during our two night stay. There was no one around at the hotel to take delivery of our lost luggage that had been delayed by a day and arrived at the hotel at 8pm the next evening. The reception was only staffed until 6pm. We were the only people in the hotel on our last night - no staff not even a night porter. Fine for an Airbnb but not a 4 star hotel!

This hotel is not what it purports to be, not what perhaps it once was. It is described as luxury boutique hotel, a four star property with a lovely view in a desirable part of town. We booked a two night stay in a suite based on this expectation. ||||We showed up to find a dilapidated mess! The photos on their website are very misrepresentative. Dusty worn furniture, broken floor tiles, scuffed walls in need of paint, a patio door in our room with a broken window and lock that did not work, a large threadbare tarpaulin hanging over the large window in our room, blocking the view…and beneath this tarpaulin a collection of various old cushions from couches. ||||To call this a two star hotel would be very charitable. It was dingy, dirty and uncared for. They told us the restaurant was closed due to the inability to find staff. Seeing the condition of the hotel we understand why keeping staff would be a challenge. ||||When we saw the condition of the hotel and room we decided that we would not feel safe or comfortable staying there. We immediately moved our luggage back to reception and informed person that we would be leaving. I indicated a willingness to pay for my first nights stay, in spite of the misrepresentation. After ignoring my repeated email requests, the hotel ended up charging me the full cost for the 2 night stay. ||||Unprofessional and irresponsible, in keeping with their hotel maintenance standard. Do yourself a favour…stay away!

A dirty and dilapidated mess, entirely misrepresented by pics and descriptions on their website. Broken floor tiles, unpainted walls, glass on sliding door in our room broken, large tarpaulin hanging over window obscuring view…discarded soiled furniture cushions visible beneath the tarpaulin. Restaurant closed and not operational. Furnishing and general condition of hotel look 40 years past their prime. This property is not even a 2 star hotel…let alone the “luxury boutique 4 star” they purport to be. We had booked a 2 night stay in a suite, when we saw hotel and room we were not comfortable staying there. We politely offered to pay 1 nights accommodation for the inconvenience, in spite of the misrepresentation. The hotel refused and insisted on charging us for the full 2 night suite experience. Save yourself the disappointment! Stay away from this property!!!

We usually trust the Telegraph travel guide and booked this in good faith. But here, the guide was outdated based in a 2013 rating. Half of the hotel was under construction, some of the walls were wet, the garage was dripping with humidity, the sun sails were full of algie and the sun deck was slippery with the same. There was one person running the show (keeping the lights on?). The hotel bar was never opened. It felt like a run down place of old glory. We don’t recommend it.

Small boutique type hotel. Room was clean, bathrooms very nice, bed comfortable. We enjoyed the small hotel as compared to the large chains. Very quiet for being in the city, nice little private outdoor patio. The young lady that worked that night was so helpful. We arrived later in the evening after driving in from Dubrovnik. She ordered food for us and even served it to us heated up and on plates. She kept us provided with drinks and went out of her way to be an amazing hostess. Refused any tips we offered. There are several sets of stairs , but very manageable. We had a very early flight, but they still offered to make us breakfast. Breakfast area is beautiful.

It is very interesting place. Different design and this custom hospitality which it is difficult to see in big hotels. Very friendly staff nice and large rooms with small terrace and view to some greens which is quite relaxing. Average breakfast, coffee kind of bitter, will be good to have some other options. Small two cars garage at extra cost. Maintenance and how clean the rooms are could be improved.
