HOTEL PRESIDENTE COMFORT Internacional

We stayed here overnight due to an early flight and found it to be a practical choice. The hotel is located a few blocks from the river, though the immediate surroundings aren't particularly attractive. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Our room was spacious, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped, and the shower leaked slightly onto the floor. That said, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and despite the hotel being on a main street, we hardly noticed any traffic noise. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Overall, for a short stay and the price we paid, it was a good value.

One of the worst hotel experiences if not the worst, worst then Cuba. First our AC didn't work. Then got moved with a working ac just to get attacked by mosquitoes because they left the window open to the room. The pictures are also deceiving and false advertisement. This place is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! If you like more than a three minute hot shower, too bad! The water got cold and when I called reception, they sent someone to tell me how to cut on and off the water. The water was still cold and then they told me that had a lot of guests. The toilet stopped up, but they were able to fix that. The room was dirty and the "couch" in the room was disgustingly dirty. I really think my dog's bed is cleaner than that "couch". There was one shining light in the dark however. The breakfast was good. It was simple, but sufficient.

I stayed here for one night on a school trip and was extremely disappointed. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was disgusting. The food was microwaved and cold and they served us jello for dessert in tiny plastic cups with plastic spoons. One of my friends with me is vegan and they gave her a spongey fake-meat thing that no one wanted to even touch. Our room was small and cramped with a window that clicked every time the wind blew (which was often as the hotel is located on the coast) and the sheets, comforter, and pillows were discolored and stained. All of the girls in our group received rooms similar to these while the guys received much nicer rooms with hot tubs, balconies, couches and windows. Our only window overlooked the elevator shaft and we had to listen to the elevator every single time someone used it. There were three people in my room with three beds and only two electrical outlets. We were forced to charge our phones in the bathroom. Overall, my experience here was terrible and I would give zero stars if I could. Very disappointed.

Stayed for 3 nights. First night encountered what seemed to be a football team staying on the same floor who like to party. Told management, they talked to guests.. noise continued most of the night and my entire stay. Staff were very accommodating, which is why I gave 2 stars. Building is in need of alot of repairs, TV in room didnt work and smelled very musty. 2nd day after room was cleaned was left with no towels. Would not stay here again.

Fortunately, we spent only one night in this hotel. For us it's only positive characteristic is its closeness to the airport and the fact that they have their own shuttle service. Even if the staff was very helpful and cordial the hotel in itself produced a very oppressive impression and I can't explain why. Maybe it's due to the fact that our room didn't have windows, rather it had one but very small and close to the ceiling so it was of no use at all. But the room was very noisy.||Breakfast was not good at all. And the room where it takes place was not a cheerful sight. Surely it's far from being a 4-star hotel

We were picked up at the airport on time and driven to hotel at night. Good reception, reasonable room tho less than what I hoped for. However, lots of drawbacks: As mentioned, EXTREMELY noisy even tho I requested a room away from the road (didn't happen); biggest concern tho is the area which is verg sketchy. After pickup, our tour guide said that in 18 yesrs, he had never been here before and said the area was not good - read: don't walk around outside! The room doors lack internal locks, breakfast was bread, banana, coffee, and one scrambled egg. And, I swear every car alarm within two blocks goes off in early morning and late night. In short, not recommended!

This is not a bad location for a day or two here but there are at least two places within a block that must be better. The promoted airport pickup did not eventuate, the room was dark and tired with a noisy fridge, and the breakfast was entirely inedible. It cannot make the lonely planet update. Disappointing!
