Stayed for two weeks. I cannot compliment the staff enough. All were very friendly, and made the stay pleasant. Even recommendations on hidden gems, and local culture. For the cost, rooms were very nice. Food was basic, but more than adequate. Location is superb.

My wife and I have just checked out after a 5 night stay here (3 nights more than enough to stay in Bar). There are some good and bad points about the hotel. Our room was nice and clean, had a comfy bed, strong aircon, an easy to use Safe and a nice balcony with views of the port and mountains. The shower while powerful was the old style shower hose in a bath tub. Unfortunately the cleaning staff never knocked and walked in a good few times when we were in the room and then gave annoyed looks when we said ‘come back in a few minutes’. Breakfast was good with a self service buffet on the terrace with nice pool and sea views. We ate one dinner off the ‘A la Carte’ menu which was excellent, great service, delicious food and a lovely bottle of wine. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I needed bus tickets printed, no problem just emailed to reception and printed immediately. We had to cut our stay short by 2 days and when a refund was not possible we were offered free dinners and lunch for 2 days as compensation which was very kind. When there was a mix up in communication (on the hotels part) which could have caused hassle it was sorted very quickly with no problems. The hotel is in a good location on the promenade and beach (a rocky beach, not the cleanest but fine for swimming in) with lots of good cheap restaurants within few minutes walk. The bus stop to Stari Bar (€1, 20 minutes away) is across the road. A taxi to the bus station costs €3. The hotel has a gym, indoor pool, sauna (we didn’t use) and offers massages, but unfortunately there was no massage therapist working during our stay. Unfortunately for us the one big downside was the swimming pool area, great for families and kids (there is kids club offered too) but not for anyone looking for a quiet pool and area to relax. The pool is also open to the public so was over crowded especially at weekends and with loud music blaring this was not the swimming pool area for us. My wife actually bought ear plugs to allow herself to sit, relax and read at the pool area. As the hotel is next to a football ground and sports centre it seems a lot kids sports camps stay in the hotel. During our stay there was 60 kids on a football academy camp so pool area was too crowded and impossible to enjoy. Obviously the hotel is non smoking but there was always a strong smell of smoke on the 3rd floor. This hotel is a great option for families but not for anyone looking for a nice quiet place to relax.

I simply cannot understand how these people can be regarded professional. The staff doesn’t come to you when you want to order something. I have been sitting almost half hour and no one is coming to make an order. Totally disgrace for Montenegro.

This place is great. Seldom does places surpass their photos, but this place does. The staff are helpful and speak good English. The location can’t really be beat and the view from the “sea view” rooms is worth the extra money. The hotel is also surprisingly affordable for what you are getting. Breakfast buffet from 7-10am and the room has a nice little minibar selection for reasonable prices.

In Bar for business and luckily only had to stay here for 1 night.|Once you have found a parking space you enter a nice , spacious lobby and the gentleman on reception was pleasant. |That was the highlight!! The rooms are in dire need of renovation and my ac unit dripped like a tap. The mattress and pillows had seen better days and there was a collection of litter under my bed.|Everywhere you look there needs some attention.|Would stay here again - not a chance

Very nice location, right on the main walking street, 2 seconds from the beach. If you don’t want to lay on the pebble’i beach, you can relax by the pool on the laying chairs instead.|The bed is comfortable, breakfast is very good and staff super friendly and helpful.|The room was quiet and althought the building is a little worn out, it still had the greatness and fancy vibe to it!|10 out of 10 will go back there!

Nope. Not worth the price or the fake 4-star rating. This is not a 4-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I'm not sure why anyone would spend 150€+ per night at this place. The only somewhat nice portion of the hotel is the lobby. That's where it ends. It needs serious updates and maintenance. Cracked and damaged patios and steps, thin and small towels, slow internet that hasn't been updated since 2016, old saunas, etc. There's much, much nicer hotels and apartments all across Europe for much cheaper and nicer hotels. You can even get an actual 4 and 5 star hotel in the States for that price, and this isn't in the same ballpark as the Trump Hotels and others. This is why I stay at apartments, not hotels in Eastern Europe. Montenegro, people come here because it's cheap, but don't price yourselves out of the ballgame. Your beaches are nice, but they aren't sandy or clean. Pick up the trash and keep the prices down, or they'll go to Florida, Bali, and other places with beautiful, clean sand beaches. Also, why are you allowing smoking in the pool area where the kids are? Also, pick up the trash on your section of the beach and street. Do better. Stay somewhere else. The only good thing about this hotel is the parking and location next to the beach.

A luxury 4-star hotel at the beach of Bar Pros: - Clean and well equipped rooms with TV, minibar, hair dryer and heating - A wide selection of quality foods in the restaurant - Restaurant has a beautiful sea view - The hotel offers an indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, a gym and sauna Cons: - Majority of the staff doesn’t speak English and even refuses to try - The cleaning lady did only clean our room every 3 days and when I requested new bedsheets, she refused to change them at first. - They make you pay extra for the sauna (12€) - Food quality has declined in the past 2 years - Overally it has a bit of a Balkan vibe to it, with some places needing renovation
