Hôtel Princesse Caroline

Had an excellent break in this boutique style hotel. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable with shower in the ensuite and hairdryer provided. Security box in the room. Plugs were near the bed. Tea and coffee were provided with a kettle in the room. Breakfast was fantastic with everything you could want there and replenished regularly. |Hotel is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from L'Arc de Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle Etoille metro stop. Excellent transport links from there throughout the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a short walk from Champs Elysees. |Overall would highly recommend this hotel for both location and standard.

So pleased we booked this hotel.|Lovely and clean and in a great location. Just a stones' throw from the Arc de triomphe and handily situated close to a metro station which is connected to multiple lines.|The staff here were friendly and all spoke English. |Our room was small, but comfortable and well equipped. |Perfect for a couples weekend away.

We stayed for 2 nights just a few days before Christmas. The metro and the bus stations are just 2 minutes away. Arc-de-Triomph is just less than 5 Minutes walking. McD and Burger King are just around the corner for some late night snack. The hotel feels rather safe, you’ll need to ring the bell if you arrive in the late evening. We requested a nice view, which is located in the highest floor, the 7th floor. You can see Montmarte from that room. However, the elevator only reaches the 6th floor. We had to use the stairs to reach our room. The receptionists were friendly. We would gladly stay there again.

Brilliant small hotel. Very clean. We arrived just after 10am and got our room which was great. Room spacious, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities. Fresh towels daily. Staff lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was Buffett style from fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, croissants great value €15 each. Hotel is literally 2 minutes walk to subway. Line 6 takes you directly to Eiffel Tower Seine cruise, 5 stops away. Take Line 1 direct to the Louvre again 5 stops away. 2minute walk to Arc De Triomphe. So central and less than 10 minutes to Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Plenty of restaurants and cafes round about hotel. Highly recommended. Luggage room available.

Clean and conveniently located near attractions, but the room is quite small. Friendly staff, though! Special shoutout to Soonita, who was very helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile.

We stayed here for the last two nights in France and loved it. It is located on a quiet street that intersects with Avenue de Wagram, just a couple of blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and the L'Etoile / Charles de Gaulle metro stop on the yellow line, #1. The location makes it ideal for taking the metro all over Paris. ||Our room was small but provided a quiet, safe, spotless, convenient, comfortable haven for both nights we were there. The mattress was on the firmer side, as is the custom in Europe, but comfortable. All the bedding was in pristine condition and looked, felt, and smelled clean. The bathroom was also well-maintained and immaculate, with plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. The elevator is small (3 people) but we never had to wait long for it.||Every employee we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast included cereals, breads and pastries, yogurts, and the coffee was from a machine but good. Although it's possible to pick up one croissant and a café au lait at a boulangerie, if you added the costs of a larger breakfast, the hotel option is better and less expensive. ||If you want a hotel that is quiet, clean, conveniently located, safe, comfortable, with friendly staff and a good breakfast, this hotel should be one you consider.

Great location, semi-quiet rooms and perfect for starting your excursions through Paris. The hotel staff were courteous and willing to please. The hotel does offer a continental breakfast but at a €15 (est $15) daily charge. The room (mini suite) was spacious and in great condition however ours did not come with a refrigerator and doesn't have an iron /ironing board. They have an iron downstairs for everyone to use, which looks weird when you see a line of people waiting to use it. Would stay again but only under assurance there will be a refrigerator, iron and possible microwave. Terrible wouldn’t stay again. No help for luggage, No toothbrush or toothpaste, no ironing board, very small room, the room barely got cold. No free water in room. Sonita at reception was horrible. Terrible construction noises, the door closes very loudly to wake up everybody around you. To make matters even worse, the air conditioner stopped working. We had to ask for another room in the middle of the night and when we got to our room, the hallway was dark with no lighting, and it smelled like sheep. As things couldn’t get any worse, the following day, I was awoken by the receptionist Sonita stating that I must relocate to my old room NOW because the air conditioner has been fixed. And no despite what the manager said we did nothing to alter settings I don’t even know how to do that. When I told her I’d be checking out anyways and an hour, she said no it has to be done now. You have to take your kids and your belongings and move now. When I posted the review on Orbitz, instead of acting in a professional and ‘customer service’ oriented fashion, the manager was rude and spewed more lies. It looks like more than one person at this property needs to be trained in customer service. Avoid this place at all costs.

Fantastic location in the Arc de Triomphe/ Champs Elysee area. We paid a flat fee €70 for a taxi (6 adults) from the CDG airport: 35-40 mins ride to the hotel. Check in was fast and friendly, we were in our room after paying the €4 tax. Typical European boutique hotel: small elevator that only fits 2 adults + 2 luggage, small room with closet, Tv, dresser, safe, tea kettle, no AC. Wifi is included, fast and steady. Love the strong shower pressure! We didn't have breakfast there as there are a ton of cafes, shops, restaurants around. McDonald's is across the street. We took a €12 Uber to the Seine boat tour...

Wasn't too hard to find About 5 -10 min walk to the arc and it can be seen from our room on the top floor, dont know about the other floors. Walking distance to shopping Champs Elysees and lots of cafes Was greeted by very nice front desk staff. There is apparently a morning breakfast but didnt partake in that Elevators are tiny, barely fit two people with luggage, so hopefully you're not claustrophobic If you're on the top floor (I believe it was 7th floor), you have to take the elevator to 6th floor, and then stairs up to the 7th floor up narrow steep stairs. Our room was a nice cozy corner room with a nice cute view of the tops of other rooftops (reminded me of Mary poppins), you can see the top of the Eiffel Tower and top of the Arc de Triomphe The room has air conditioning thank god because Europe can get a little warm sometimes and it's humid so the AC was a nice relief after a day of shopping. The room has outlets and some USB slots which helps because we initially didnt have adapter for Paris. Bed was comfy. I don't like how from the several places I've visit in Europe that the showers also have half glass doors and then I end up getting water all over the bathroom floor (maybe I'm just a brute when I shower then lol) Would definitely come back here and recommend. Was such a cute place and very affordable for the area compared to other hotels

Perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms and staff that goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. We will definitely stay here on future trips to Paris.
