Hotel Príncipe Paz

Great location for shopping and cafes. Easy walk down to the sea front. We only had one night there as we were cruising next day. You could easily walk to the cruise terminal as it's only 1kilometre away, we took a taxi, cost 15 euros. Definitely recommend hotel and location.

We have stayed for 1 night. Staff is very helpful. Hotel is clean. Hotel location is also good. We pay 12€ for breakfast. Breakfast itself is very poor but delicious. There is no sleepers in the room so after bathroom you have to walk on cold floor 🥲

I decided to escape the UK winter and found the hotel on last minute. The rooms are good and clean the only downside is you can hear a penny drop in the room next door. The restaurant doesn’t serve evening meals but they do serve drink, Filpe the barman is great and very talkative makes you feel welcome, he’s a credit to the place.

A basic hotel, well located right in the middle of shopping streets. Room is clean and sufficiently provided, the cleaning crew were very detailed. Breakfast were OK. Reception was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a kettle and they sent one right away. We stayed here five nights, we are very happy.

Nice Stay here, Room and basic amenities are so good. but food is not so good, because veriety of dishes are very less.

I enjoyed my stay at the Principe Paz. It was a not too long walk from the bus station and the hotel reception desk is kind of at the rear of an entrance to shops so it looks strange when looking for the hotel entrance.||I had a largish room and from the hall landing when you walk into the room there was the bathroom on right and then a door into the room which should cut down any noise from the hall during the night. ||The breakfast was in the pleasant restaurant with a good selection. In the hotel and the staff in the restaurant and reception were friendly and helpful. ||The hotel is in a great location for shops, restaurants and transport links and there is a nice plaza opposite to sit in. Would be happy to stay there again. |

The location was the best part of the hotel experience. The room was rather small and dark because the window looked out to a dark alley and was opposite another tall building. The bathroom had a hairdryer and toiletries, including toothbrushes and a razor kit. Unfortunately, the mattresses on our twin beds were too hard to be comfortable. The staff at the reception was friendly. The breakfast was nothing special. Dried-up eggs and bacon that had been cooked earlier and kept under a heat lamp. The coffee was served from a machine and was also disappointing.

Great location. Could be noisy in time of any events.
