Hotel Prinzessin Rupprecht B&B Swakopmund Namibia

My stay was pleasant. I had breakfast every morning. Though I didn’t get room service for the duration of my stay at the backpackers and en suite room I had which was disappointing as the rubbish was piling up resulting to ants lingering. The backpackers had a fridge that’s situated within the bathroom and toilet area which was a bit of a hassle as it’s a communal space for both men and woman. Perhaps they can invest in a mini fridge per backpacker to make it more convenient for things to be kept cool in the privacy of your room. That would be a nice touch to this quaint but pleasant lodging. Overall I would stay there again.

We had a very comfortable one night stay while touring Namibia. ||This is an old style hotel dating back will over 100 years - full of character and interesting history. Rooms were very comfortable and staff very hospitable. ||

When I got here they lost my booking and when they finally found a room we continued waiting for the room to be cleaned. We always had to remain quiet because there is a retirement home in the same facility. One of the two must be chosen hotel or retirement home

Cozy and adequate room in friendly historic hotel with welcoming and helpful staff and great breakfast. Easy walking distance to the centre of Swakopmund. Appreciated help in getting a day tour to unmissable Spitzkoppe.

Prinzessin Rupprecht is our number one choice when in Swakop. Close to the beach, jetty, shopping centres and restaurants. Beautiful garden, clean facilities, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds and hot showers without fail. At night, you can hear the ocean - best lullaby.

This hotel is in a very convenient location within walking distance of the beach. There is also secure parking.
