What a beautiful hotel in quiet Malgrate few minutes away from Lecco center. Very beautiful designed rooms and so much quietness. The breakfast is so amazing with several options for vegans and vegetarians. The personnel are very friendly and always cheerful. Right infront of the lake nothing more beautiful to experience

We stayed at Hotel Promessi Sposi for two nights with my husband and we were extremely happy with our experience. The hotel is very quiet, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Everything feels well cared for and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and always smiling, which made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety and high quality products. The location is perfect — surrounded by greenery, calm and relaxing, yet very convenient. The hotel has a unique vibe: simple, minimalistic, but at the same time very refined and high-quality. You can really feel the attention to detail and genuine care for guests. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-class stay.

I chose this hotel while traveling to the area for work, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The location is perfect – away from the busy town yet with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Sitting on the rooftop terrace with a drink at the end of the day felt truly romantic and peaceful.||The staff are excellent – friendly, attentive, and very helpful with anything you need. I was particularly impressed with their communication and assistance with bookings and transfers even before I arrived.||Our room was modern, clean, and beautifully presented. One of the staff members kindly showed us to the room and explained all its features, including the electronic blinds. The room itself was quiet, with a small courtyard offering a partial view of the lake – a very pleasant spot to sit outside and enjoy the nature and gardens, which are another lovely feature of the property.||We also tried the spa and the “comfort zone” area, which includes a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers, loungers, and wonderful views. It was very enjoyable, though some areas would benefit from a little maintenance (e.g., wooden floorboards needing replacement). The spa menu is good, and while the masseurs were kind and welcoming, the massage technique itself was just average – those who prefer a stronger, deep tissue massage may find it a little light. Overall, it was still a nice experience.||Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and welcoming staff. We dined one evening at the hotel’s lakefront restaurant, which offered very good food and attentive service. On another night, we also enjoyed trying one of the nearby restaurants along the shore.||As a special treat, we booked a private water taxi through the hotel to explore other towns along the lake. It was a two-hour excursion at sunset – a little pricey, but absolutely worth it for the chance to see parts of Lake Como from the water that we wouldn’t have otherwise experienced in such a short time.||Summary: This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Although it does host tour groups, I never felt that this impacted the quality of service. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, staff, and excellent service.

Waking up to such beauty every morning was an experience we will never forget. The food was exceptional. Breakfast was not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared to suit a wide variety of cultures and traditions. From a classic English breakfast to Italian options and more, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast area itself was very well organized, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere that made starting the day a true pleasure. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The housekeeping team did an amazing job — they were professional, kind, communicative, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail truly stood out and made our stay even more comfortable. The reception staff also deserve special praise. The girls at reception were incredibly helpful, understanding, and supportive at all times. They assisted us whenever we needed help and showed genuine care and patience, right up until our last day. All common areas were perfectly maintained — well structured, spotless, and welcoming. The overall environment of the hotel felt peaceful, organized, and relaxing. I chose this hotel after a very busy and noisy work week, looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend away with my daughter, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Visiting Lake Como was exactly what we needed — calm, beautiful, and full of unforgettable scenery. Everywhere we went around the lake was simply stunning. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and exceptional service. I am certain that I will return one day to the same hotel, as we truly loved every moment of our stay.

Everyone is very friendly at Hotel Promessi Spsosi. Wouls like to say thank you to all staff (including reception, breakfast team, bar staff and cleaners). Everyone is ready to make to you happy whenever. Me and husband are very delighted to be in this hotel. The view from the rooms are AMAZING! Can not even describe it. It is a must experience. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is delicious!

Recommended by a local friend who lives in the area, the Hotel Promessi Sposi does not disappoint. Stunning views of Lecco by the waterfront framed by the dramatic Orobie Prealps. Staff were really friendly and took the initiative to put in a cot for our little one despite not needing one. The hotel has 2 restaurants located within its compound for those who do not want to travel out in the evenings. Paid Parking within the hotel is available on reservation request, but lots can be tight for those driving bigger cars. Would love to be able to stay at this hotel again.
