HOTEL PROVERBS Taipei- a Member of Design Hotels

We stayed in Room 1002 for two nights. Room is trendy decorated & is a good size with king sized bed, couch, desk, bathtub & shower. |The bathroom is right at the entrance - also be aware, that there is no privacy if you go to the toilet - only separated by a curtain if needed.||Room also has a balcony towards the city - however there are metal bars, so it’s obstructing the view towards Taipei 101 Tower.||Location is superb! Metro/ MTR is only a block away. Sogo Department store is just few min walk away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Felt safe walking around at night.||Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is about 40 min taxi ride from Taoyuan Airport away - we paid about NTD 1100 for it. Songshan Airport was only 10 min taxi ride away - we paid NTD 140 for it.|Taxi ride to Jiufen took about 45 min - cost was NTD 1200.||Would stay here again for the superb location. Not a fan of the metal bars though - even on the Rooftop Pool - obstructed the beautiful City View.

The perfect base for a long weekend stay. Well located in a fun neighborhood, with lots of good food options (best beef noodles just round the corner), and right next to the subway. Lovely cozy room with a super comfy bed. Cool bar with inventive cocktails.||We will be back.

The counter provided immediate help for our requests. The breakfast was pretty good. The room is beautifully designed. The bed is good too. Just be aware that there’s no door between bathroom and bedroom, only a curtain to separate them. And the A/C is hard to adjust. Overall very good experience.

Nice vibe, the interior design is contemporary style. Staffs are very attentive. Location is convenience with street food nearby also shopping mall just a minute. Visited the bar on the 3rd floor, nice atmosphere. Provided with soft and hard pillows, but does not have any supporting for neck/shoulder. But it is just me, I am very picky on pillow.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. The interior decor is very impressive with materials including wood, leather, exposed concrete, glass and granite. I was very impressed. The bed is comfortable and the room is quiet. I hope to stay again.

Lovely hotel - modern design and comfortable rooms. Exceptionally friendly staff. Excellent location near plenty of shopping and food options. Conveniently located to metro stations via underground malls. Definitely a place we would stay again when we return to Taipei.

Great location a few minutes from ZhongXiaoFuXing Station, and lots of local eateries, and hotpot spots and bars, amenities within 10minutes walk. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. I needed a hotel gym but this was absent so that's the only missing part. Service at front desk and cleaning crew were excellent. Note that some rooms have metal grills outside the windows obstructing views. The mobile casting function on the TV doesn't work.
