Mixed Experience - Failed to Meet 4-Star Expectations Positives: The hotel's location near the lake is excellent and was the highlight of our stay. The staff was nice and efficient, particularly during checkout. Room Issues: We booked two premium rooms expecting corner windows with lake views as advertised. Instead, we were assigned a hot attic room (Room 601) with stairs (which we were never informed about) and only city views. The view from our room and the stairs leading to it were not shown on the hotel's website or on Booking.com. Additionally, the hotel advertises premium rooms with bathtubs on both sites, but neither of our two rooms had bathtubs. This was a significant disappointment and not what we paid for. Service Concerns: The hotel has no bellman service, and no staff offered assistance with our luggage. My husband had to carry both suitcases upstairs alone, which was particularly challenging as I've had two shoulder surgeries in the past six months and couldn't help. Amenities & Housekeeping: - No complimentary toiletries provided in the room and no soap in the shower - we had to source our own - The towel provided on our last day was old and had such a strong odor we couldn't use it - Part of the bathroom sink counter and two water glasses were not cleaned during our stay - No coffee or tea available in rooms - Only instant coffee and black tea available in common areas - No drinks or snacks provided in the bedroom - the minibar was completely empty Breakfast: The breakfast was disappointing overall with stale croissants and overripe strawberries. The first day, the cappuccino was decent. However, on the second day we were told cappuccinos cost extra and only the first day was complimentary. We accepted the extra charge, but received a watery coffee with a thin layer of foamed milk that could never be called a cappuccino. After this experience, we chose to eat breakfast elsewhere despite having already paid for it at the hotel. Overall: This hotel did not deliver the 4-star experience we expected or paid for.

Large room, they have improved the bath room. No bath but great rain shower. I noticed the staff really do an extra mile for you.. that is so nice when you needed some help. You do not have the view on the lake but I did not miss that. Wifi is good and also breakfast is good.

A bit outside of town which we wanted and still easy access to walk to town in 5 minutes and waterfront across the street a bit. Easy parking in lot across street. Great breakfast and food, had a burger of course. Rooms are simple, but large to spread out. Beds a bit soft.

Our group had two nice evenings here. Beautiful building, with a lot of nice wood work. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable, room spotless with a nice shower. We walked to our restaurant.

Nice contemporary hotel that does a complete failure on WiFi and hot water. Despite complaints and claims of fixing the WiFi was nicer above 1 MBS. Pathetic. Useful for any sustained download or streaming. No premium WiFi option. It just failed. Hot water takes 10 minutes to teach your room on the 3rd floor regardless of the time of day. Do not be misled. The place shows great and operates horribly. They have no capabilities for quick fixes. Nothing changed in two days.

Only stayed two nights while passing through, and enjoyed our stay. Hotel is 8-10 minutes walk to the waterfront and downtown but there is a nice walkway that avoids the traffic streets. We arrived late so ate in the burger bar downstairs and enjoyed our casual meal. Recommended

Good hotel, well located, good room standard and service. |I stayed 2 nights for business purpose and did really enjoy the stay so very likely I'll come back.|Didn't get the chance to try the restaurant but heard the burgers are one of the best in town.
