Can’t beat the location to access all parts of the city. The hotel has been nicely renovated and was clean and comfortable. I’ve read some comments about mattress comfort but I found mine very comfortable. I elected the breakfast option and was happy with the selection and quality of the food. The room was quiet from all the outside noise. Typical European hotel though where you will hear other guests in the hall or entering/leaving their room.

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms. Also really appreciated their help doing laundry on a per bag basis - something many other hotels would charge you for on a per item basis. They are a short walk away from the “Pomogranet/Granadas” gate and you can easily walk to the Alhambra once you tire of the views. Rooftop bar and lobby restaurant also great. Breakfast buffet small but also relatively inexpensive. Easy to walk to shopping, coffee shops and other restaurants in Granada.

I stayed here for two nights. This is an account of my personal experience.|Location is on a a hilly street leading to the Alhambra. It’s a steep climb to the Alhambra but an easy walk down to Plaza Nueva and the cathedral area. It’s easy to walk to attractions from this hotel and there are also wonderful mini buses to be found just down the street.|It’s about a 10 minute drive from the train station, depending upon traffic.|My room was very clean, but small, I had to move the luggage rack so I wouldn’t get hurt if I got up in the night to use the bathroom,|Bed was comfortable.|Room had good sound insulation from street noise. I was able to sleep undisturbed.|Bathroom is small. Sink is similar in size and design to an airplane lavatory. If you need space, inquire with the hotel before booking, some rooms have better facilities. Staff is good about answering emails promptly.|Room had a refrigerator which was very nice.|My room had a complimentary tote bag and mini bottle of alcohol.|My reservation included breakfast. Food options included bread, doughnuts, fruit, eggs and meat.|There is a bar on the top level that has a great view of the city and alcazaba. Sadly, it was closed due to rain one of the nights I was there.|I loved the little library they have. I borrowed a book each night.|Would I stay here again? Yes, I would.

Well maintained, clean and stylish hotel. Location is very central and convenient to access all the major sites as well as buses and taxis from Plaza Nueva. The hotel suggested some parking options however we chose to park our rental car outside the historic center (15 min walk from the hotel) for less hassle. Did not try the restaurant or the breakfast but that is offered on site. Free piononos and tea in the lobby daily. Good value all around!

This hotel was exceptional! Immaculate, very comfortable bed, air conditioning worked really well, quaint balcony, wonderful breakfast, great rooftop views & the location exceeded our expectations. Convenient to walk to all the sites and sounds of Granada! I cannot say enough about the staff, they were all exceptional! The service was impeccable. Rosario and Andrea could not have been more helpful with making our stay memorable. We could not have picked a better place to stay!

Great hotel, very friendly, professional staff and always helpful. Rooms very nice and clean, great location, prices reasonable, excellent Wi-Fi, roof top bar/restaurant overlooking Alhambra. Strong water pressure for the shower for those who like that. The location is within a few minutes walk to Alhambra and the main town centre. Highly recommended.

The plus points:|Super location for short walk to main shopping area, restaurants and|the Alhambra is about 15 minutes walk (uphill)|Clean|Well appointed clean gym room|Lovely area to sit and read|Super rooftop bar with lovely views over the city|Bedroom and bathroom were small but clean|Good choice for breakfast, room is a bit overcrowded with furniture| |Why I don’t give it a 5:| |First impressions - poor customer service at check in and tiny attention to details|The gentleman who checked us in didn’t provide the warmest and friendliest of welcomes. No pleasantries, how was your journey etc. He was busy which I made allowances for so we went to our room|The second time I approached him later to ask for help he saw me but picked up the phone first|The third time he gave us the information requested but clearly we had interrupted his work at his PC which seemed far more important. First impressions count, very disappointing especially compared with other hotels on this holiday.|When we asked other members of staff for help during our stay they were pleasant and very helpful.| |Towels were not as large and fluffy as I would expect from a boutique hotel of this standard (and we are not large people)|Table mats in the dining room are curling at the edges and just look scruffy.| |We then went on to the Kivir hotel in Seville, definitely a 5.|With a bit of thought Puerta de las Granadas could so easily be a 5 too.

This hotel is great for visiting the Alhambra. It's a short walk, but up a steep hill. My hotel room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very modern and the room had very high ceilings. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
