"Part of the Planetaria Hotel Group, an Italian chain of 4- and 5-star hotels, the Hotel Pulitzer is located in a residential and business district near Rome ’s southwest periphery. Given its proximity to conference centers and a popular music venue, the hotel appeals mainly to business travelers and concertgoers. But the Pulitzer is by no means a sterile home base. On the contrary, it’s laid-back and homey, with a comfortable lobby and a helpful staff. Adding to the mellow atmosphere, a sweet black-and-white cocker spaniel named Joe Cocker circulates through the lounge. The common areas and rooms in this pet-friendly hotel are bright and feature wood accents, modern sculptures, and framed prints blending down-to-earth, classic decor with contemporary flair. The sixth-floor roof terrace, popular in summer, is trimmed by olive trees and provides panoramic views of lesser-known parts of Rome. The centerpiece of the terrace is a bubbling Jacuzzi."

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. They advertise a pool — there isn’t one. Instead, they try to charge €25 per person for just 30 minutes in a tiny, unimpressive spa room, and if you want to use the jacuzzi, that’s extra too. Complete false advertising. The so-called gym is a joke, a tiny, airless cupboard with hardly any equipment. Worst of all, when we calmly raised these issues, they reacted appallingly. Without any threats or aggressive behaviour from us, they called SIX police officers and threw us out of the hotel at 9:30pm, leaving me and my disabled child with nowhere to go. They refused to let me and my son stay without My partner present, despite our reservation. Be warned — read the small print carefully. They hit you with extra charges for everything. Thankfully, we managed to find an Airbnb at 10pm, which turned out to be miles nicer and far better value for money. Avoid this place like the plague — total scam artists with no care, compassion, or respect for their guests!!!!

Excellent hotel, staff are very friendly and very helpful. I've read other reviews that are negative but honestly, we've had nothing short of excellent hospitality from front of house and bar staff. You have access to a roof top terrace that includes a Jacuzzi and an unforgettable view of the sunset over Roma! (comes at a small charge) The hotel is 2 minutes from the metro which will take you to most tourists sites before the terminus which you will access everything else from there. I recommend this hotel as we've had an excellent stay and will definitely come again! I'm having to review this review believe it or not, unfortunately the hotel have let themselves down on the very last day.. There was a problem with the electric in the hotel, our floor had none. the air-conditioning wasn't working, and we couldn't shower on 1 of the hottest days of the year, To top this off we couldn't charge our phones, ready for the evening we had planned in the city center. Overall experience was gr8 until the last day, which tested the hotel staffs hospitality. We wasn't offered any further assistance, a free drink at the bar maybe, or a change of rooms... Very disappointed 😞

Firstly, the hotel was super easy to get to and check in to, the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was 'outside' and led out into a cosy garden area with lovely seating. The room was spacious and clean and we had a cleaner come and clean our room whilst we were out almost every day. |I loved how close the hotel was to the Marconi metro station, and it is 15 mins on the metro to the city of Rome. Their isn't much to do in the actual area itself or many great places to eat, (although a nice cafe next to the hotel), however we were only staying their to sleep and got to metro every day into the centre and spent most of our time there. ||Only slight faults were it was quite noisy at times from traffic outside and you can hear people moving around in the other rooms. However I can imagine if you stayed in Rome city centre itself it being noisy as well. Also we weren't aware that we had to pay to use the terrace. You also need to be aware that the snacks they leave out you need to pay for. And their is hotel tax to pay when you check out. ||I would recommend this hotel overall:).

Great hotel! Super clean and trendy. They have a bar and restaurant at ground level and the location is only a short walk from a subway stop. The area felt a little weird when it got dark, but it wasn't so bad. They had parking at the hotel that you could pay for, but I just parked in the median of the main road where everyone else was parking. There were also spots on the side street so try to find parking before paying for it. I was also annoyed that the hot tub was by reservation only. It was locked even when it wasn't being used which I thought was a little lame. The hotel is walking distance from many stores. The bathrooms were nice and big and they had nice little complementary amenities like vanity kits and stuff.

The reason for the low score is mostly outside noise & shabby location. ||The good |Comfy beds |Efficient check in (although all staff efficient just not very friendly) |Clean |Modern reception |Great Wi-Fi|Bus stop outside ||The bad |The road and people passing by so noisy. Also could hear neighbours snoring through walls. We had a room at the front and daughters had one at the back. We asked if we could have a room close by, even if on the same floor but it was just a ‘no’. Anyway they do have ear plugs at reception you can have, which we did but not very good. Both nights not much sleep. ||Location although bus stop outside (which got packed) it’s over an hours walk into the main areas of towns. Who knew how expensive Ubers are. But that’s down to me not checking. However the location around the hotel is grotty and far say from anything. Although we did find an amazing restaurant about 15 mins away called Mojo, yummy. ||If you can’t get sleep on vacation what’s the pint?

The rooms were modern, spacious enough, and the beds were big and comfortable. In particular, one of the rooms was on the top floor and that included an amazing and massive terrace, with a great view, which could fit a nice gathering easily. Everything seemed very clean. The only complaint regarding the rooms is that the AC was only set to heat, in April/May, under up to 29 °C sunny weather. If under these conditions it is set to heat, when can we expect the AC to cool? We used the jacuzzi, paid separately, as well, and can't complain. We had a very relaxing time for ourselves while enjoying a nice view for 2 hours. The shower beside the jacuzzi only outputs ice cold water but that's understandable. The location is not particularly safe at night, but the Marconi metro station being nearby saves it. The Colosseum is just a few metro stops away. There is a big 24/7 Carrefour within a 10 minute walk. Thumbs up for the bus stop being inaugurated during our stay right in front of the hotel, although with an obnoxiously bright LED billboard. Breakfast was fantastic, with the highlight being a pancake machine. Highly varied and worth the 14€ in my opinion.

easily accessible from airport ticket 1.50 e purchased at arrivals from a desk which allows bus 270 to metro stop Laurentina the last stop on line B. The same ticket allowed you to take a Metro from Laurentina to Marconi (several stops perhaps 20 mins). And a short walk 200 meters to Hotel. Reception Staff polite and helpful and all staff encounter were excellent. Booked on a no meal basis on arrival arranged for dinner that evening and for the following two days halfboard food at breakfast and dinner were lovely and priced fairly. Room was clean and located on the lower ground floor and in a very attractive shared garden area with comfortable seating and was noise free. The Marconi metro provides easy means and a fast route to many of the sites in Rome the Colosseum for example takes perhaps 15 minutes. There are a couple of shops only metres from the Hotel for water, milk and groceries if wanted and a cafe for morning cake tea and coffee. overall would highly recommend this Hotel and hope to be returning shortly for a revisit. At the Metro Station you can easily purchase 24, 48 hr tickets by card that will allow you to travel around using bus tram and metro and these tickets are cheap - on return to airport we used the ticket purchased a day earlier ie 24 hr ticket to travel to Laurentina metro and then the 270 bus to airport Ciampino (whilst a taxi would cost c e70)||A nice hotel, good atmosphere and lovely staff. A special shout out to Alice at the Reception, Breakfast Staff and those serving dinner.

The most comfortable bed i have slept in. Breakfast was lovely, nothing too much for the staff.|The roof top is not open for free. Its 24euros for 2 hours which wasnt clearly specified. |I was on ground floor and late at night would hear the restraunt above being cleaned and chairs moving around. |But i loved the hotel and its location. Would go again..if the roof top is free access!
