"Part of the Planetaria Hotel Group, an Italian chain of 4- and 5-star hotels, the Hotel Pulitzer is located in a residential and business district near Rome ’s southwest periphery. Given its proximity to conference centers and a popular music venue, the hotel appeals mainly to business travelers and concertgoers. But the Pulitzer is by no means a sterile home base. On the contrary, it’s laid-back and homey, with a comfortable lobby and a helpful staff. Adding to the mellow atmosphere, a sweet black-and-white cocker spaniel named Joe Cocker circulates through the lounge. The common areas and rooms in this pet-friendly hotel are bright and feature wood accents, modern sculptures, and framed prints blending down-to-earth, classic decor with contemporary flair. The sixth-floor roof terrace, popular in summer, is trimmed by olive trees and provides panoramic views of lesser-known parts of Rome. The centerpiece of the terrace is a bubbling Jacuzzi."

Hotel Pulitzer Roma (Rome, Lazio) 14 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The smart and stylish Pulitzer Roma occupies a 20th-century modernist building in the EUR district, the Fascist-era exposition center, now a business park and residential area just south of the city center. And what it lacks in picture-postcard historical charm it makes up for in personality — this is not the Rome of the Spanish Steps or the Colosseum, but the modern face of the vibrant capital of modern Italy." - Tablet Hotels

First time in Rome and definitely the best option to pick this hotel not one to write reviews but this hotel sold itself. Staff are amazing very accommodating with everything you ask of them room was beautiful with a balcony and most comfortable bed the only part we’d wish is that it would of been a actual double bed instead of 2 singles put together Breakfast selection was vary with warm and cold food types and a selection of pastries would of preferred more hot food to be placed in hot food selection but it is understandable due to how much capacity the hotel has. Overall a lovely experience and if we ever get the opportunity to go back we’d be staying here!

No concerns with the hotel at all considering the reviews left me feeling concerned on the way... Alice was so polite when we arrived, we stayed in room 505 and it was well equipped with a balcony. The room and hotel was very clean. Busy road outside hotel but does not effect sleeping etc, tram is 3 minutes walk away with local busses outside. Restaurant 6 minute away if you turn left outside the hotel and some lovely cafes to the right of the hotel (good value for money) we forgot our travel plugs.. wasn't an issue, the reception staff were more than happy to help and we were provided with a plug free of charge. We enjoyed our last afternoon on the terrace overlooking beautiful views watching the sun slowly coming down. The lady who served us dinner last night in the hotels restaurant was so lovely! Overall the hotels vibe is nice, your not in Rome to sit in your hotel room all day and night - it's about exploring and getting your head down, we were just super happy the hotel didn't disappoint and our stay was pleasant. We would 💯 recommend this hotel. Not overly busy and it's nice and chilled. Thank you.

Clean, tidy & nice hotel. 20-30 minute drive from the centre however taxis aren’t cheap. Could’ve done with staying closer to the centre for the extra fee to save on transport cost. However there is a train station 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is handy. Room tidied and bed made fresh daily. Staff were friendly and helpful in all instances. Room came with fridge and good sized bathroom, bed and a balcony. Club across the road which was slightly noisy at nighttime but not too loud that you couldn’t sleep through it. Hotel felt safe and so did the area. Corner shops a minute stroll away for necessities in terms of food, drink & toiletries. Only issue is we were overcharged for tourist tax at the end of our stay. Other than that, lovely hotel and matches as described. Would recommend.

Our flight was in early morning and actually got to the hotel for 11am/12pm, online it does advertise check in is at 2pm however they let us into our rooms straight away. ||The rooms were clean , spacious and maiden service every day between 8:30-2:30pm. ||We got breakfast included and opens at 7:30am to 10:30 Monday to Fridays, and till 11am Saturday-Sunday. In terms of food there was some variety however not alot in terms of hot breakfast food , mainly pastries and fruits. Did try the cucumber however was dry so opted to make my self a Sandwhich which the meats were lovely ! |Really liked the fact that the hotel offers for free a portable charger for any device for when you’re going out into the city! This was really helpful as the heat was draining the battery from our phones. ||The only downside was taxi charges & the rooftop hot tub & loungers aren’t cheap. ||Into the city taxis charge about 25€ each way. We decided to rent the scooters which you can find anywhere around on the app ‘DOTT’. ||The rooftop hot tub & loungers need to be booked in advance when you get to reception always ask as they can be fully booked. It is 25€ per person in the evening and 15€ per person in the morning.

Excellent hotel, staff are very friendly and very helpful. I've read other reviews that are negative but honestly, we've had nothing short of excellent hospitality from front of house and bar staff. You have access to a roof top terrace that includes a Jacuzzi and an unforgettable view of the sunset over Roma! (comes at a small charge) The hotel is 2 minutes from the metro which will take you to most tourists sites before the terminus which you will access everything else from there. I recommend this hotel as we've had an excellent stay and will definitely come again! I'm having to review this review believe it or not, unfortunately the hotel have let themselves down on the very last day.. There was a problem with the electric in the hotel, our floor had none. the air-conditioning wasn't working, and we couldn't shower on 1 of the hottest days of the year, To top this off we couldn't charge our phones, ready for the evening we had planned in the city center. Overall experience was gr8 until the last day, which tested the hotel staffs hospitality. We wasn't offered any further assistance, a free drink at the bar maybe, or a change of rooms... Very disappointed 😞

Firstly, the hotel was super easy to get to and check in to, the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was 'outside' and led out into a cosy garden area with lovely seating. The room was spacious and clean and we had a cleaner come and clean our room whilst we were out almost every day. |I loved how close the hotel was to the Marconi metro station, and it is 15 mins on the metro to the city of Rome. Their isn't much to do in the actual area itself or many great places to eat, (although a nice cafe next to the hotel), however we were only staying their to sleep and got to metro every day into the centre and spent most of our time there. ||Only slight faults were it was quite noisy at times from traffic outside and you can hear people moving around in the other rooms. However I can imagine if you stayed in Rome city centre itself it being noisy as well. Also we weren't aware that we had to pay to use the terrace. You also need to be aware that the snacks they leave out you need to pay for. And their is hotel tax to pay when you check out. ||I would recommend this hotel overall:).

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. They advertise a pool — there isn’t one. Instead, they try to charge €25 per person for just 30 minutes in a tiny, unimpressive spa room, and if you want to use the jacuzzi, that’s extra too. Complete false advertising. The so-called gym is a joke, a tiny, airless cupboard with hardly any equipment. Worst of all, when we calmly raised these issues, they reacted appallingly. Without any threats or aggressive behaviour from us, they called SIX police officers and threw us out of the hotel at 9:30pm, leaving me and my disabled child with nowhere to go. They refused to let me and my son stay without My partner present, despite our reservation. Be warned — read the small print carefully. They hit you with extra charges for everything. Thankfully, we managed to find an Airbnb at 10pm, which turned out to be miles nicer and far better value for money. Avoid this place like the plague — total scam artists with no care, compassion, or respect for their guests!!!!

Great hotel! Super clean and trendy. They have a bar and restaurant at ground level and the location is only a short walk from a subway stop. The area felt a little weird when it got dark, but it wasn't so bad. They had parking at the hotel that you could pay for, but I just parked in the median of the main road where everyone else was parking. There were also spots on the side street so try to find parking before paying for it. I was also annoyed that the hot tub was by reservation only. It was locked even when it wasn't being used which I thought was a little lame. The hotel is walking distance from many stores. The bathrooms were nice and big and they had nice little complementary amenities like vanity kits and stuff.
