I will return. I loved the deck chairs on the beach, and the hotel being close to a running path. I love the hotel’s ideal location. I loved the afternoon tea or happy hour buffet on the 17th floor. I liked the tv channel options, the bathtub, and the yoga mat.What can be improved is cleanliness in small details in the room, and adding staff that can speak English. Also, training staff not to focus so much on charging guests for anything they consume. There is an open account so the guests will pay when they check out. This will relax guests and help them enjoy their stay without having to talk about paying all the time.

It takes just 15 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel, and a 2-minute walk through an exclusive underground passage leads straight to the beach. Morning balcony views showcase the Coconut Dream Corridor and sea; evening sunsets over the water are wallpaper-worthy. The welcome tropical fruit platter, soft linens, and cozy pillows elevate comfort. Family-friendly perks include a kids’ water slide, play area, and game zone—staff even offer childcare help. Don’t miss breakfast’s herbal jelly and fresh bread; dinner has top-tier seafood. The 17th-floor lounge’s cocktails, night views, and mellow music are perfect, with hassle-free checkout cherry-topping the stay.

Outstanding. Second time at the Pullman in Sanya Bay. Wonderful experience both times. I had a pool access room this time and it was worth every cent. Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower and air conditioning. All the staff at the hotel are fantastic. Professional, kind and helpful. Beautiful pools. Breakfast is excellent. So are all the restaurants. Highly recommended. I have stayed at three other resort hotels in Hainan, some more expensive. The Pullman is my favourite by far. I will be back for a third stay. Soon I hope. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making it such a great stay.

I stayed in Pullman for three nights. First want to say that the location is really good and convenient, especially direct underground pass to the beach. The breakfast is various and delicious, a lot of options to choose from. My room had an access to the pool, which is great in the evening time but a bit noisy during the day. Plus sound isolation wasn’t good between the rooms and I could hear my neighbors. Room service is good though, staff is friendly and helpful. Want to mention Mariya who added my WeChat at the reception when I was checking in and who made sure I have all the information and help I needed. Massage at the spa there is amazing, definitely worth trying and the price isn’t high at all. Would recommend staying here 👍

The hotel is average in quality. Compared to even cheaper hotels, it's surprising! My expectations were high.A much cheaper hotel offers free green tea to anyone who wants it, but this is not the case here.Many things are poorly thought out. The staff is tired and disengaged. It feels like management is more interested in KPI numbers than in their customers. It's heartless.There are no restaurants or amenities nearby. It's empty.The shower water is inconsistent: sometimes it's normal, sometimes it's boiling hot.The restaurant and breakfast area is small. Lines for breakfast. A cheaper hotel in another bay had a huge restaurant with plenty of space. At this hotel, the distance between some tables is 50 centimeters.The lobby was under renovation. In the hallway, there are some hucksters offering dental services and teeth cleaning at dubious establishments. It's unpleasant.After the rain, the stairs leading to breakfast are wet and dangerous, covered in white towels. They literally wipe up the rain puddles with your towels.Since there's nothing around, the hotel prices are exorbitant. Ice cream is 68 yuan. Absolutely ridiculous prices for everything.They monetize everything they can. There are cheap boats in the pool. They cost 10 yuan. Literally everything costs money. The cafe and restaurant are exorbitantly priced.The beach towels are gray with brown stripes (were they used to wipe something off the floor?).Some toolless farmers are working in the garden. One woman was sharpening her sickle on a square granite well, thinking it was stone.The staff literally begs for good grades, despite their soulless work. They bluntly say their salaries depend on it. It's cheap manipulation.I won't return to this hotel.

We liked our apartment with absolutely amazing sea view. The swimming pool is also nice and clean and bar in the swimming pool is a good idea. What we didn't like is that the number of sunbeds on the beach is totally not enough for such a big hotel. At 9 in the morning it was impossible to find a free sunbed and sometimes no beach towels were available. Sellers on the beach are annoying and discouraging the desire to go to the beach at all.

We were very satisfied. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and there was a selection of both Chinese and Western food.The grounds are beautiful, and it's just a short walk to the pool, restaurants and beach.From the moment we arrived, Nicky gave us excellent advice! We were given an upgrade with a beach view and, because our flight was late, a late check-out.We will definitely come back!

I have always been a loyal guest of Pullman hotels and have high expectations from this brand — which is why my recent stay was all the more disappointing. Honestly, I expected much better from a 5-star hotel I’ve trusted for years. Let’s start with breakfast. Imagine waking up every morning to the exact same food, day after day. I understand that menus may repeat occasionally, but this was practically a carbon copy. For a hotel of this caliber, it's unacceptable. I’ve stayed at other Pullman properties where breakfast was exciting and diverse — why not here? Then there’s the issue with beach towels. They are only handed out after 10 AM? Are you kidding me?! I love the early morning beach — quiet, peaceful, from 7 AM to 11 AM. But I couldn’t enjoy it because the hotel decided I wasn’t allowed to have a towel before 10. And no one from the staff could even help me fix this — seriously? In a 5-star hotel? Check-in was another letdown. As a Gold member of ALL — Accor’s loyalty program — I’ve always been given rooms on higher floors without even asking. This time, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, and no one even blinked — like it was normal. No upgrade, no explanation. Only on the second day did I manage to get a room on the 9th floor, which was still far from what I expected. What about the welcome drink? I didn’t get one until I specifically asked for it — and then the selection was just… sad. It was the same stuff you find in the minibar. Usually, I’m offered wine, which is standard in Accor’s upper-tier hotels. I was honestly shocked. What changed in just six months? We were a group of seven, and four of us had birthdays during our stay. I informed the hotel in advance, and I was grateful they offered small birthday cakes. But the inconsistency was bizarre — the first cake came with candles and utensils, the second only with utensils, and the last one was just the cake, nothing else. Is that how birthdays are celebrated here now? It felt impersonal and disrespectful. And then came the worst part — upon entering our Deluxe Suite, I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. Later, we even saw a live one. I’m speechless. This is Pullman? A 5-star hotel? In my Deluxe Suite? Absolutely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. To top it all off, the check-out process took over 15 minutes. For a hotel that should be streamlining such procedures, it was a total nonsense. I’ve checked out faster from much busier properties. But I also want to say this — there are great people working here. Maria, Daisy, and Tony — these individuals truly stood out. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made a real difference. Without them, this stay would have been unbearable. I hope the management reads this and understands how far this hotel has fallen from the standards Pullman is known for. I’m not just complaining — I’m sharing this because I care about the brand and want it to get back on track.
