Hôtel Punta Lara

What a wonderful setting! Off the beaten track, the hotel was welcoming, relaxed and beautifully equipped. The reception area was light, spacious and airy, with attentive service (we were walked to our room), and views of the dining room and heated outdoor pool giving the promise of a memorable stay. |After beer and cocktails overlooking the waves, we settled into our comfortable room with large bed, separate bathroom and WC, plentiful hanging space and ceiling fan. |Later, we ate at the restaurant and, while the portions were slightly small, we had eaten our fill of delicious plates of mackerel, tuna, pork, octopus risotto, cheese and a Vendée tart. There was a varied wine list, and vegetarian options. |Falling asleep to the sound of waves outside our balcony was a delight, before a leisurely all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast (hot and cold items, pastries, fruit, dairy and cereal choices and a variety of teas and coffee).|Finally, a swim in the pool before we packed and left. We will return!

The hotel is really lovely and the location is fantastic. The hotel could be absolutely amazing with a few small changes. They need more people working on the front reception desk, as you could end up waiting for about half an hour for something as simple as pool towels. The pillows were really big and at peak season they could do with a few more sun loungers. Having said that, the staff were lovely and the facilities were really good, so overall we had a great holiday.

It was a very nice stay at your hotel. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The restaurant and food were very good. The hotel grounds were very well-maintained.|We thank you for this wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

Beautiful location. Really nice room. 1 or 2 niggles but the staff were excellent. Couldn't do enough. Just upset we were bxb hoping to eat in the restaurant on the last 2 nights but found it fully booked. The breakfast choice was amazing. Loved the bread and cakes and our young grandson loved the pancakes that they specifically made for him. Thankyou.

All of the team were fantastic, friendly and welcoming - special mention to Sebastian in the bar/restaurant who was great fun and couldn't do enough for us. |Setting is lovely and we loved our balcony beach view room. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed with family. Lovely hotel with staff doing everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast, just wish I'd booked earlier for evening meal as was fully booked. Would like to return some time

After a hic up with the first room we were swiftly moved to a room with a working fan ! Staff lovely and EVA and MARGAUX were exceptional. Food in restaurant was so nice and well worth the money would highly recommend . Clean and amazing all through
