Hotel Punta Regina

I’ve been to Positano multiple times and all over Italy as well. Stayed in many hotels and there’s nothing like this one. The rooms are as clean as you can imagine. The front desk staff - specifically Mario and Francesca are absolutely unbelievable. Scheduling rides, doing something special for our engagement and just being so kind. If you’re also lucky enough to have an amazing conversation with Giuseppe then your day will be made, he is incredible as well. We cannot wait to stay here again and wouldn’t even bother looking for a different hotel in Positano when we return. We do not have a single complaint !!! 10/10 experience

we stayed at Punta Regina three summers ago and were very excited to return. Our stay far surpassed our expectations and we are already excited to come back. The staff is incredibly helpful from the moment you book the stay - from getting dining reservations, to arranging a car service, Mario and Francesca made our stay so easy. We splurged and got a Deluxe room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, and truly the room did not disappoint. The breakfast and pool staff were equally wonderful, and the food was fantastic. Overall, our second stay at Punta Regina confirmed what we already knew - that this hotel is a true gem in Positano and anyone coming to town should stay here.

What an amazing hotel. From start to finish. We were graciously greeted by Francesca during check in. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The view and location are fantastic. The entire staff were welcoming and very friendly. Anytime we needed anything at all they were very accommodating. Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

This hotel is absolute perfection. I actually cried when we made it to our room, after a long day travel the wonderful Francesca greeted us and was incredibly kind. And the room was absolutely breathtaking. This has been truly the most incredible service I’ve ever had, wonderfully kind and wholesome staff who has communicated with me and gone out of their way to help since the day we booked. In addition to the most beautiful view, this is hands down the BEST hotel breakfast I have EVER had, with the most kind and genuine staff there as well. This is honestly an incredibly underrated and gorgeous hotel. 10 min walk from the main beach (with the famous Positano stairs of course) The location is right next to a beautiful bar overlooking the the coast. I would come here 10x over. We love you Punta Regina!!!!!!!

We booked a deluxe double room with terrace and were very pleased with our stay. The bed was HUGE — it must have been two full or queen sized beds pushed together — and the pillows were high quality foam. With that and the well-functioning A/C, we slept like babies. The view from our balcony was lovely, and we really enjoyed spending time out there every day. Most importantly, though, are how friendly, helpful, and highly competent the staff were. Everyone was lovely, but I’d call out Francesca for being so helpful in making sure we didn’t lose our dinner reservation after a delayed arrival; she gave us a very warm greeting when we arrived and was so cheerful every time we saw her. And then the gentleman who serves breakfast (whose name we didn’t catch) was hilarious and ensured each day started in good spirits. ||Our stay fell during a newsworthy heatwave across southern Europe, and I’d note that the ~25 min uphill walk to the hotel from the lower town was extremely punishing in the heat, even as two people in very good shape. I suppose not having taxis, tuktuks, or pedicabs preserves Positano’s character, but it means there’s no option but to have a grueling walk back to this upper town area. So I’d caution anyone who isn’t up for this kind of walk to stay in the lower town area, closer to the water. We otherwise did like the location a lot — there are very good views of Positano from this height, and there’s a decent amount of quality restaurants and shops on the street outside the hotel.

Our experience at Punta Regina was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible staff, Francesca, Mario, Sticks, and so many others whose warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel like we were not just guests, but part of the family. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It is impeccably clean, and thoughtfully maintained. You can truly feel the care and quality that goes into every aspect of the property. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast served each morning on the stunning rooftop terrace. Enjoying fresh, delicious food while overlooking the breathtaking views of Positano was unforgettable, but what made it even more special was the service. Sticks and his team were incredible: attentive, cheerful, and genuinely committed to making every morning feel like a celebration. It quickly became our favorite part of the day! The personal touch at Punta Regina is what truly sets it apart. Whether it was offering helpful local recommendations, remembering our preferences, or simply taking the time to connect, the staff made our stay truly memorable. We are so grateful for the experience and already can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone at Punta Regina for making our trip so special!

Our stay at Hotel Punta Regina was absolutely incredible! The views are breathtaking, the hotel is beautiful, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to Francesca, who was a lifesaver during our trip. She went above and beyond to make sure our time in Positano was unforgettable and truly magnificent. If you’re visiting Positano, this is the place to stay — we can’t wait to come back!

10/10 recommendation. Incredible staff, super clean, and the location has AMAZING views! We travel a lot and this is one of our all time favorite places we have stayed. It is a little pricey but well worth the money in our opinion. Normal pricing was back down after the weekend we stayed, so normally, we feel this would be a great value!
