I’ve been to Positano multiple times and all over Italy as well. Stayed in many hotels and there’s nothing like this one. The rooms are as clean as you can imagine. The front desk staff - specifically Mario and Francesca are absolutely unbelievable. Scheduling rides, doing something special for our engagement and just being so kind. If you’re also lucky enough to have an amazing conversation with Giuseppe then your day will be made, he is incredible as well. We cannot wait to stay here again and wouldn’t even bother looking for a different hotel in Positano when we return. We do not have a single complaint !!! 10/10 experience

we stayed at Punta Regina three summers ago and were very excited to return. Our stay far surpassed our expectations and we are already excited to come back. The staff is incredibly helpful from the moment you book the stay - from getting dining reservations, to arranging a car service, Mario and Francesca made our stay so easy. We splurged and got a Deluxe room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, and truly the room did not disappoint. The breakfast and pool staff were equally wonderful, and the food was fantastic. Overall, our second stay at Punta Regina confirmed what we already knew - that this hotel is a true gem in Positano and anyone coming to town should stay here.

We had such a special stay here! The service was truly top-notch, the staff went above and beyond in every way. Each time we went out for the day, they delivered water to our room, which was such a nice touch. The location was perfect, close enough to everything but just far enough from the noise to feel relaxing. They also helped arrange a scooter for us for one day, which made exploring super easy and fun. On our last day, we had a very early flight, and they even had coffee delivered to our door at 4:50 a.m.! Little gestures like that made our stay feel extra special. You should definitely stay here!

What an amazing hotel. From start to finish. We were graciously greeted by Francesca during check in. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The view and location are fantastic. The entire staff were welcoming and very friendly. Anytime we needed anything at all they were very accommodating. Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

What an amazing hotel. We were a family of nine and not one of us had a complaint. Giseppe was our waiter upstairs on the balcony and he was unbelievably amazing. He couldn’t do enough for you. Mario and the staff at the front desk were very attentive and very very helpful. Not sure why you would want to stay anywhere else, this hotel always exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend you check it out. |Oh and I was able to get a haircut right next door to our hotel at Positano barberia.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel. The staff was so helpful with transportation and restaurant recommendations in Positano. The breakfast was so deilcious especially the crossiants and bacon. But nothing compares to the outdoor space / deck area where you will eat your breakfast. It is a scene out of a postcard.

Our stay at Hotel Punta Regina was absolutely incredible! The views are breathtaking, the hotel is beautiful, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to Francesca, who was a lifesaver during our trip. She went above and beyond to make sure our time in Positano was unforgettable and truly magnificent. If you’re visiting Positano, this is the place to stay — we can’t wait to come back!

This hotel is absolute perfection. I actually cried when we made it to our room, after a long day travel the wonderful Francesca greeted us and was incredibly kind. And the room was absolutely breathtaking. This has been truly the most incredible service I’ve ever had, wonderfully kind and wholesome staff who has communicated with me and gone out of their way to help since the day we booked. In addition to the most beautiful view, this is hands down the BEST hotel breakfast I have EVER had, with the most kind and genuine staff there as well. This is honestly an incredibly underrated and gorgeous hotel. 10 min walk from the main beach (with the famous Positano stairs of course) The location is right next to a beautiful bar overlooking the the coast. I would come here 10x over. We love you Punta Regina!!!!!!!

Yelp
We loved our stay here. Due to late flights, we arrived around 9:30pm and we were quickly assigned our rooms. The gentleman working the front desk, quickly made a dinner reservation for us at the Mediterranean right down the block so we could eat before the kitchen closed at 10pm. We left our luggage with him to bring to our rooms and we were off to eat after a very long day of travel. Our room had a jacuzzi tub on the patio with an outstanding view. I sat many mornings at our patio table and enjoyed reading my book. Our room was spacious with a wall of closets and a large dresser. It also had a couch, coffee table and tv but we never turned on the TV. Breakfast was served on the fourth floor. Be sure to chat with 'Stix' as he has lots of stories and he makes a great cappuccino. It was raining for 3 of the days we were there so we ate on the covered side of the patio. On the fourth day, it was gloriously sunny so we sat in the open air and enjoyed a spectacular view. Our room was clean. Maid service was good. The staff was amazing. I really liked this place because it was a bit off the beaten path so it was quieter but still easy to get to shops and the port. Great experience.

Yelp
Punta Regina is the hidden gem of Positano and out of 6 hotels/ cities we visited during the 2 week trip in Italy, Punta Regina was hands down my favorite. Let me explain further: 1. Their Service - Exceptional service that went above and beyond just "great service". The things they did for my wife and I. The interactions we had every time, with anyone there - they always made you feel at home or welcome. Beats many of the 5 star hotels I've stayed at in both the US and other countries around the world. You'll receive world class service from them and nothing less. 2. Location - amazing location with an infinity pool overlooking Positano. You can walk down to the beach two different ways (stairs are steeper but faster) or through the main road down. When you want to escape the crowds, you make your way back up and enjoy, not only the serenity of less people, but the higher viewpoints of Positano. That said, it's worth noting that my wife and I are in our early 30's and we're pretty fit - although, outside the gym I hate walking. My parents have stayed at Le Sirenuse and I know they wouldn't have enjoyed the stairs route at Punta Regina for what it's worth (60 yrs old+). But it's typically younger adults who stay here and if that's the case for you, it's a piece of cake and once again, this is coming from someone who hates walking. 3. Price - their prices are super competitive. We stayed in Punta Caterina and were a little worried that it wouldn't be as nice since it wasn't connected to the main hotel/ pool/ breakfast area. That didn't matter. It was so close on the same street it was negligible and we got to still book the suite at a solid price with our own private balcony overlooking an unobstructed and breathtaking Positano ocean view. Admittedly, we did use that balcony a lot for laundry as well since it was so big, but I digress! Ultimately, we LOVED our stay with the Punta Regina family. We got to write in their book they keep at the front desk too. Everyone there is so nice and I follow Punta Regina on Instagram where it always makes my day when I see them post. It takes me back to some of our fondest memories in Italy and we can't wait to go back again one day!

Yelp
Wow.... Well situated mid way up the hills. We stayed in the Villa that was off the main resort. It was about 100 yds from the main resort. We had 3 large rooms, 3 full baths, a large kitchen and a great terrace to gaze at the views. We were close to great places to eat. We had access to the small pool and bar. The staff made reservations to all of the amazing restaurants. The Villa is perfect for 3 couples or a family of 6.

Yelp
Ugh, the views from this hotel are absolutely breathtaking!! I stayed here on my honeymoon for 4 nights/5 days and had the most amazing experience. We stayed in a superior deluxe special room which was very clean, spacious with ample wardrobe/closet space, a large couch with satellite TV, free wifi, a large bathroom, and a balcony with a jacuzzi all with the most amazing views of the mediterranean ocean and views of the Positano coast. Most nights we would sit out on our balcony or in the jacuzzi and watch the sunset over the Amalfi Coast- seriously, the views are unbeatable. Breakfast was served each morning on the rooftop terrace. On this same terrace, you can get afternoon drinks/apertifs and enjoy taking in the breathtaking surroundings/views. They also have a pool, which was perfect to cool off in on hot days. All of the staff were so friendly and made sure to offer their recommendations for the best restaurants and the best things to do in the area. The hotel is also in a great location and a quick walk down to the city center. I cannot wait to return to Positano and I would definitely stay at the Punta Regina again!

Yelp
We never ended up staying here bc they overbooked. But this hotel, as well as hotel miramare (sister property) have the best customer service and are so kind!

Yelp
We haven't arrived yet but we are really looking forward to staying here next week. Francesca has been amazing in helping us plan our upcoming stay! She has gone above and beyond with reservations and suggestions for the local area and we look forward to meeting her in person.

Yelp
First I wish I could give 4.5 Stars and not just 4 or 5. We recently stayed at The Punta Regina for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. It is an amazing boutique hotel. The room was huge, we had a private balcony with a great view and Jacquzzi, which was amazing. The room was a nice mix of modern and rustic/beach vibe. The location is nice because you have views, and there is a nice, small pool at the hotel, but you are a bit of a walk up the hill from the main square. Personally I liked this but know there's an easy walk up that takes about 20 minutes, or there's a hard walk up about 350 stairs. We walked down the stairs to get to the beach fast and took the leisurely stroll back up. The hotel is near a lot of good restaurants (we LOVED Next 2), and the staff is very friendly. The hotel breakfast is nice - nothing too fancy but definitely satisfying. We had only 1 issue during our stay that on our last night there was a weird noise coming from the vent that kept us up. The bathroom was nice with fun, Italian tile, but it had a mild mildew smell (it wasn't too bad at all and we didn't say anything). We were told as we left that the service company was on their way so hopefully nobody else has the same experience. Overall, I think we would stay here again. The view from the room and pool were amazing. The only things keeping this from being 5 stars is that it is a boutique hotel and the scale of everything is small and our two very minor issues.
