Hotel Punta Sur

Hotel is nice, beautiful and green, rooms are slightly outdated but spacious. Breakfast is what could be expected and is good. Be aware that they host private parties outside close to the pool side during the day and beginning of the evening. With hard music and swarms of kids completely spoiling the “peace” they claim there is in the hotel. Great if you look for a lively place but if you look for a quiet place I would look further.

Went to Tarifa and did not like the AirBnb we already paid. Preferred to skip it and stay in a quieter/safer place. This hotel was heaven! Friendly service, great room surrounded with nature. Food in restaurant (and in the included breakfast) was great. Absolutely recommended!

Best place to stay in Tarifa. The overall atmosphere is a bit classy but still relaxed. This because of the amazing garden restaurant behind the reception building. All staff is very friendly and helpful 10/10. The food is delicious at the restaurant. Breakfast can be improved, some minor things would help: coffee, tea machine - now you que at the bar, pretty annoying when you sleepy crave your coffee. Also the eggs you order at bar. The food variety could be improved as well. Compared to the restaurant, the breakfast seems to be managed separately. The pool is amazing, really quiet (if no kids:) great place to read and chill. They have some peacocks and a small river. We had a family suite with 2 rooms. The AC is pretty old and did not work properly.

A fantastic stay. Really professional welcoming staff. Lovely pool. Lovely restaurant food & service . A great choice in Tarifa.|Tarifa busy main road is often unattractive as you whizz past hotels on the other side of the road from the sea. Don't be fooled by the exterior. The joy is at the back. Manicured gardens, aviary , lots of parking, even a tennis court and small gym if that's your thing. |The food is amazing at both lunch and dinner. The wine list is superb value. The waiting staff are fantastic. |Breakfast was in our deal. It was an extensive cold buffet and you could order omelette etc. We were too full from the night before dinner ! |The chalet style room with bath and air con was very relaxing. We sat outside on our chairs and enjoyed the warmth. |Do go . It's great .

This is the place for us to recharge our batteries. This hotel has everything you need, spacious rooms, incredible food and super friendly employees who are always going the extra mile. Especially Otman, who is super attentive and always super friendly. 10/10 employees. Highly recommended.

What a cool property with a pura vida vibe! It's not fancy, The rooms are simple but spacious. ACs take a while to cool the place down. The pool is simple. But the vibe and property are beautiful. Like a little private oasis. Service is top-notch. The garden dinner sitting is superb. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you, staff, for a great stay.

We only ate here but the accomodation looked good. Facilities looked excellent. The food, service and ambience of the restaurant was excellent

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Punta Sur. We visit Tarifa from Tanger quite often and this was our first stay at a hotel, as we normally book Airbnb’s. Punta Sur has exceeded our expectations. Specifically front desk service, the large, clean pool, and the delicious restaurant who offers complimentary breakfast. What sets this hotel apart is the surrounding nature, fountains and live animals. Highly recommend and we will be returning!
