What I like most about this place is that the food is always delicious. Everything I've tried has been great. The staff is friendly, the place is beautiful, and it's a great place to relax. This is where I got proposed to and I must say that they made it magical.

The feeling of being alone in the world A magnificent place where privacy is total and calm is the order of the day. Punta Teonoste has its own cove, making it completely private. Once there, you forget everything. The bungalows are magnificent and offer absolute privacy. The communal area, with its spectacular architecture, is the place to spend the day and enjoy the delicious dishes of the chef who does an excellent job and whose cooking is a masterpiece. Everything is done in a fluid, relaxed, family atmosphere.

My stay at Hotel Punta Teonoste was truly memorable. The pristine beachfront, coupled with their eco-friendly amenities, made for a perfect retreat. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, ensuring our comfort at every turn. The rooms were beautifully adorned and offered spectacular ocean views. The spa services were a highlight, providing ultimate relaxation. Highly recommend for a serene getaway!

Wonderful hotel right on the beach. First time having such a cool room with an outdoor bathroom! So glad my room had AC because it was HOT and I can't sleep with just a fan. Food was delicious though it took around 30 minutes on average to be served. Cocktail drinks were okay, one bartender was better at making them than another so if you get Jose you're in good hands. Only one employee, Derling, and the manager spoke English so the rest I had to use Google translate to help me communicate. They were all very friendly and helpful with smiles on their faces. Pool was nice and cold for a hot day and the ocean water was cool with strong waves. I decided not to go on the horse ride but it was available to me. Wifi was free and strong. The ambiance of the place was calming and relaxing and with only 4 other guests with me it was very quiet. Great stay overall if you want to be super relaxes and tucked away.

Very disappointing experience. Reserved a room with 3 beds and air conditioning. Upon arrival we were shown to our room and 2 of the beds were upstairs with no AC and no fan. With it being over 100° during the day it was impossible to sleep in the upstairs area as we are accustomed to sleeping in AC and paying $200 per night for a unit with AC. We could have easily booked a hostel at a fraction of the cost. Sadly that's not the worst part. After a long day of travel I was ready for rest but when I pulled the sheets back I found rat poop all over the bed. I called the front desk and was assured someone would come by and change the sheets. After waiting 45 mins no one showed. I called 3 more times with no result. I then went to the desk in person. At this point they sent someone with me with new sheets. Clearly we didn't want to stay another night but after 2 hours of this it was now 10pm and we didn't have much of a choice for that night. The next morning we talked with Elmer, the manager, he was aware of our situation and agreed to refund our money. He said it would be 3 days for the refund. Now after 14 days we have received no refund and Elmer has said in emails that he is not refunding us our entire stay. This is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. The beds are unsanitary and they are dishonest.

Lovely beach, quiet and calm. Pet friendly. Beachfront rooms. Very private. Welcoming service. The road to get there is under construction and therefore not in the best conditions. Lunch was served cold (fish, rice and plantains) Dinner and breakfast were tasty.

The actual hotel premises is not that bad, however the staff makes it terrible! No attention to the customer at all . The entire place was filthy all over! I asked for the supervisor and he or she was nowhere to be found and the rest of all staff were hooked up with their cell phones all the time !!!, The admin in charge tells you about the rules till you give a deposit that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks the funniest thing is they don’t give a good service whatsoever ! They never around to provide you for service(drinks, food or towels) When we arrived the restrooms had no paper toilets! The tables in the restaurant area where all dirty with beach sand on and or dirty cups or plates from previous customer’s served that left long ago . We have the impression that this place is run by somebody who doesn’t have a clue or skills in how to administrate a Hotel . We heard that the owner is a Swiss citizen and most likely is not well informed that his hotel is falling into a very low rating star review.

Nice and secluded hotel on the beach with restaurant and bar. The staff is very nice and friendly and attentive. The beach feels private and water is refreshing. The set up is that there are 15 bungalows which are purposely rustic and while ours had AC the 2nd floor didn't and was open air which meant some in the party had a very different comfort experience. The power and wifi went out and even when wifi was up is it is spotty and slow. So if you go and you should know that prepare accordingly. Bathrooms are private but open air which is quite unique and different.
