Positive: The location was nice and so was the overall aesthetic of the place. Infact, I appreciated the fact that you could enjoy the sunset from a very beautiful spot. Negative: First, the phone was not working, so room service wasn't something that we could do. Plus, the bathtub was leaky and that spoilt the mood. On top of that, the carpets in the walk-in closet were dirty and dusty. The bed was uncomfortable and it seemed that it could break anytime. In the evening, there were no lights in the hallway, that made us lock and unlock doors with the flashlihts on our phones. Finally, there was dust in the shelves and on the paintings in the room. The lack of maintainance was evident. The restaurant food was over-priced for the taste. I mean, mark-up on food is understandable. But to pay Rs.90 for a bottle of good old Bisleri was just pishing the limits of shamelessness. The staff were rude, indeifferent and very unprofessional. It seemed that us, lesser mortals were there just for our money and to add to their inconvenience. The most disappointing was the rude personnel in the restaurant. Simply donning a fancy costume and headgear does not make one good at their job. In the hospitatlity industry, behavior is very important. For the holier than thou folks at the hotel, good behavior was something that was elusive, a mystery lost in the depths of Pushkar Lake.

It’s not about the star ratio it’s more about where you focus is. Read below and decide||We stayed here for a few nights and found the location to be outstanding. The hotel is right on the lake, just a short walk from the main bazaar, and in a safe area. It’s ideal for exploring on foot or by tuk-tuk.||Service was another highlight — the staff were kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any requests. We really appreciated their hospitality.||The building itself is a villa with lovely original architecture and a lot of character. However, it’s important to know that the hotel has seen better days. While it still looks picturesque from the outside, the rooms and amenities are noticeably worn. Some aspects, like the outdated electrical setup, may be concerning for guests expecting modern safety standards.||Housekeeping keeps the rooms clean, and the charm is still there — but this isn’t a modern or recently renovated property. ||If you value location and atmosphere over updated facilities, and are okay with a more rustic experience, this place may suit you.

This hotel appears out of nowhere and is superb. The staff are so friendly and caring. The rooms are delightful. The food is delicious - our dinner and breakfast were delicious and served in the stunning balcony overlooking the spiritual lake. We loved Pushkar and will remain a highlight of our 3 week tour to this special part of the world.

This was not the most luxurious hotel we stayed in but gets 5 stars for charm, authenticity, location overlooking Lake and value for money. The decor in the small rooms and balconies was excellent. The dining room decor was strangely spartan by contrast. Think it was half way through a renovation. Proximity to lake and a ghat was excellent and we walked all way round lake.

Reception and staff with the exception of the restaurant were rude, and unhelpful. They also caused a rift between me and my family by dishonestly reporting that I had arrived from an outing by rickshaw. The room was comfortable but we had booked a room for 3 and it had just one double bed. We had to wait until midnight for them to make up a third bed. The food on the other hand was excellent and reasonably priced hence the rating of poor rather than diabolical.

It was a very negative experience in a ‘holy’ town. This hotel is best described as a dump. Unsafe, ghastly food, the staff only want tips and do nothing for you. We were told to go down the stores and buy our own water. Creepy management and scary electrics. Will never stay here again or visit this godforsaken hole.

Fantastic position overlooking the lake nice terrace with terrific sunset views across to the bathing ghats. We were allocated an upper floor room with great views from the external balcony. Ground floor rooms probably only have garden views so avoid if so? Bathroom v dated and room generally could use a bit of an update. Aircon unit looked ancient but luckily didn’t need it. Friendly staff, quite limited breakfast included and we ate out at the lovely Sunset Cafe a few mins away. Brilliant food and v reasonably priced but note Pushkar is a dry city with no alcohol and only vegetarian food! Try a walk through the old town and visit the Brahmin temple (only one in the world) and marvel at the spiritual feel of the lake and its pilgrims. Would rate this really as 3 star max hotel but the views take it to 4 star.

Celebrated a 60th Birthday Breakfast on the terrace. We were made to feel very welcome, the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The area was spotlessly clean and all the staff were very attentive. It was exceptional value for money and very peaceful and beautiful
