Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find no food available at the hotel, as the restaurant closed at 10 PM with last orders taken at 9 PM. This forced us to dine elsewhere, despite prepaying for evening meals.||**Food Experience:** The food throughout our stay was inadequate. Breakfast offered limited choices, mainly continental with some warm options. The evening meals for half-board customers consisted of a restricted three-course menu: a salad starter, a burger chicken or beef (either raw or overcooked), and decent chips. This pattern continued all week. The final dinner was moved to a pizza restaurant due to a private function, with a similarly limited menu and no free drinks. The private function's fine dining starkly contrasted our experience, making me feel like Tiny Tim from a Christmas Carol. ||**Hotel Condition:** The hotel was overrun by small mice, seen at least seven times during my stay. The staff seemed indifferent. The rooms were small, lacked maid service, bottled water, coffee, or milk despite having a kettle. The beds were small and uncomfortable.||**Positives:** The hotel is situated halfway up a mountain with fantastic daylight views and ski-in/ski-out access. The ski shop is conveniently located opposite the hotel. The resort offers runs for all skill levels.||**Recommendations for Improvement:**|1. Improve the restaurant service with a wider selection of well-cooked, hot meals for all guests.|2. Address the mouse issue to enhance guest comfort.|3. Ensure rooms have basic amenities like bottled water and coffee.||Despite the rep's help, I can't help but feel let down by the overall experience.
