Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find no food available at the hotel, as the restaurant closed at 10 PM with last orders taken at 9 PM. This forced us to dine elsewhere, despite prepaying for evening meals.||**Food Experience:** The food throughout our stay was inadequate. Breakfast offered limited choices, mainly continental with some warm options. The evening meals for half-board customers consisted of a restricted three-course menu: a salad starter, a burger chicken or beef (either raw or overcooked), and decent chips. This pattern continued all week. The final dinner was moved to a pizza restaurant due to a private function, with a similarly limited menu and no free drinks. The private function's fine dining starkly contrasted our experience, making me feel like Tiny Tim from a Christmas Carol. ||**Hotel Condition:** The hotel was overrun by small mice, seen at least seven times during my stay. The staff seemed indifferent. The rooms were small, lacked maid service, bottled water, coffee, or milk despite having a kettle. The beds were small and uncomfortable.||**Positives:** The hotel is situated halfway up a mountain with fantastic daylight views and ski-in/ski-out access. The ski shop is conveniently located opposite the hotel. The resort offers runs for all skill levels.||**Recommendations for Improvement:**|1. Improve the restaurant service with a wider selection of well-cooked, hot meals for all guests.|2. Address the mouse issue to enhance guest comfort.|3. Ensure rooms have basic amenities like bottled water and coffee.||Despite the rep's help, I can't help but feel let down by the overall experience.

Clean rooms. Tons of saunas too. Excellent food venues nearby surprisingly. Their restaurant is very good. Great lodge here for the season. Had a blast.

Triple rooms as advertised are a twin room with a camper bed added leaving no room between beds, if advertised as a double plus then we would have known what to expect. Three adults were crammed in with little space for luggage, these are twin rooms only and should be advertised as 2 plus or 2 and a half for parents with a child.|Not happy with the description of the rooms being advertised. We later found out they do have triple rooms but are more expensive, this also was not offered when we booked. please be sure if you are a party of 3 that you specifically get a triple room and not the twin plus.

This is only hotel for truck and bus driver just to sleep and get rest little bit on the way and continue to their drive by next morning. Dinner is terrible! Breakfast is terrible! Rooms are small, no lift and you cannot find any staff in the hotel. After 9 pm reception doesnt work, when you call for any help, they dont send anyone to room. Towels dont be changed 3 days as well room cleaning! Even you tell them to do, they are doing like they are making you a favour. If you dont need to stay, don’t stat but if you must stay due to not availability then prepare yourself for all these. Thanks

It was a very good experience. Breakfast was perfect. The hotel room was very clean. Staff were friendly. The location is pretty close to ski school (walking to get to school from hotel is around 10 mins). Will definitely go again.

Not a good start. Checked in with not much of a welcome by female receptionist, she gave us our key and pointed to some steps. Found our room and started to unpack when a man used a key pass and entered our room and then went out again and then came in again, and went out again…..we were baffled! A few minutes later the not so friendly receptionist came in to our room, (it would have been nice if she had knocked) saying that were in the wrong room….like we’d put ourselves in the room! She went out again and then came back saying we’re in the room and we’ll have to move. Next the Crystal Rep. knocked on the door and said they’d been a mistake and we’re been put in the wrong room and she would find out what room number were moving to (the receptionist never came back to apologised). Then the man came back and barged passed us and put his suitcase in the room and disappeared again! The Crystal Rep helped us move to the other room …..thank goodness for her - she said she would feedback to the hotel manager and the next day he apologised for the inconvenience and gave us a voucher for tea and cake …..we would have preferred the receptionist to apologise for entering the room twice and making out it was our fault that we were in the wrong room!! ||The room was very basic but clean and comfortable. …..there was a kettle as described but not tea, coffee, milk or sugar as described in a review we read. We didn’t steep properly as you can hear everything going on in the other rooms….we were woken up at 6am every morning to what can only be described as someone tap dancing in the room above. ||The hotel was filled with at least 95% of families that were on the Santa Package so a very noisy place, and our evening meals were not relaxing at all as the children were constantly running around in the restaurant and climbing over the furniture….it was manic. The food was good but not much of a selection - the Chefs in the kitchen were wonderful and served us with hot vegetarian meals. The breakfast selection was good but if you like warm portage and warm pancakes you will be disappointed as hot food was always luke warm ….as the the soup in the evenings and the water in the earn was never boiling.
